It's been years since I've rolled down the street strolls (SF Mission, Oakland Int'l/SPA, SJ N/S, E/W).   Does anyone here partake?  Is it even allowed to discuss street action?

I miss the days of the random encounters, where what you see is what you get.

To paraphrase Will Rodgers, there's lots of good one-Jackson BNG providers, the problem is they charge eight Jacksons for it.

E14th between 16th and 22nd is the current 510 track. Watch out tho. Lots of cameras and ALPR too I bet.

Just happened to be in the SJ area earlier this week and made a slow ride along the old extended N/S with some zig-zaging to some of the side streets.  I hadn't been out to that area since shelter-in-place.

I kind of expected it to be pretty dormant and it was.

What struck me was the amount of creeping gentrification, again unsurprising, but it kind of generated some sad yet fond nostalgia.  Still plenty of dive hotels and such, and possibilities if SJPD somehow adopts sensible priorities and providers and clients keep it sensible about staying away from the residential areas, but I don't have great expectations.

I've never been much of a street scene guy, only sampling the fare 2 or 3 times, but I was a frequent sightseer, just finding it delightful in the glory days to watch the lovely ladies strut their stuff and flirt.
