Although I've scheduled sessions thru P411 without issue, I've recently been asked for my TER handle. This provider wanted to read my reviews to get a 'feel' for who I was as a Hobbyist. Is this a common practice among providers ? Does an OK thru P411 equate to the same as being white listed on TER ?
It's her Business and as an independent business owner she can run it the way she wants. If she asked additional or other preferences for references for any reasons she has the right to require them. And on the other hand for a shopper, if you really like the product, it's up to you to provide those info or move on to the next.
And IMHO, P411 doesn't really equate to TER White List. P411 OK's is great majority of the ladies accepts them as a reliable source of references. but it requires additional private information for a provider to access them, to check your OK's, ie. DL # or copy of DL etc, if she's not an active member. TER White List, VIP member or not are utilized by some of the ladies that uses other account & devices like, twitter, facebook, instagram, etc. etc and easier to access like TheNewTER...and more private. I guess.....
Many ladies want to read a guy's reviews beforehand. If a guy is into a specific service a provider does not provide she would like to know that. Also to read how he acts in an appt while it does not mean he is going to act the same way with each provider. You can learn a guy's dislikes and/or likes. In my opinion a ter whitelist is not the same thing as a P411 ok. Some guys have whitelists from providers they have never had an appt with so that is the reason I cannot automatically take a whitelist at face value.A P411 ok is better in my opinion

Please don't misunderstand. My query was purely out of curiosity. Until recently, my engagement in the community has been limited to the sessions with a Provider. I've been a basic member of TER since 2012, but moved up to VIP membership earlier this year. The demise of RB, my 'reliable' source for information concerning Providers, drove me into the waiting arms of The Exotic Review. I'll admit, my venture into the SF regional boards is for selfish reasons. I'd like to enhance my experience by picking the brains of the more seasoned, be it Provider or Hobbyist.
I appreciate the shopper analogy. The fact that the product is an experience only increases the value of available resources. Thank you for your feedback. In addition to the screening, are providers actually reading the information on P411 or the reviews on TER ? or are Hobbyists just posting for our own mutual benefit ? Is more weight placed on a TER review than a White List or P411 OK ? What Hobbyist information bears the most weight on P411 or TER for a Provider? Thank you in advance for you responses.
Often I like to read the reviews of prospective clients in order to get a feel for what they enjoy. Call it doing one's homework for the best possible experience.
As a relatively newish member, I too wonder about the differences btw P411 and TER. Seems with providers I have tried to see, most readily accept TER, but probably because they're members themselves, I'd suspect. I explored P411 and TER and concluded more benefits came with TER for me
I like when a provider checks my reviews for just that reason. Doing their homework. That way they know what my likes are and are not. I don't like verbally "directing" a session because I feel I might come across as pushy. Usually providers are good at reading subtle clues as things progress, but I'm always impressed with someone who already seems to know. It's more of a turn on when she already knows she is free to just go right into something rather than also trying to feel me out to see if that's really what I want. Plus there is a chance I might read a cue wrong and switch to something else I think she would prefer when in fact she would have been totally up for it or even preferring it herself. If I read a cue that a provider does not like something, it's not my style to try and push it, but them there is a risk of one of us misreading a subtle cue.
