Haven't used TER for quite a while myself, but under the 'Discussion Boards' there are 'Ad Boards' for various regions, such as the "San Francisco ads" linked here.  Various sorts of rules, no doubt, IIRC ad posting limits and such...

Welcome, welcome .... xoxox!

Hey Nikki,

Wish I could help here but that would be like the blind leading the blind. (lol)

In addition to the Ad Boards (as someone already posted), there is also the Photo only board. Maybe someone with better knowledge can give you a more detailed response. But glad to see you made it here.
:-)

But what's with the big delay in posts showing up? Or is that just me...?  Anyone?  :-)
Yeah, that's just you...everyone else's posts show up instantly. :P Haha...j/k.

On my first day here, it took like an hour and a half for my posts to show up. Right now there is a slight delay, but not as long. I wonder if someone from this site has to read every single post before it goes up. I would hate that job! (lol)

The self help center will give you much information on using TER

The first thing any provider that is new to TER should know is that you do not create your profile.  A profile is not created for you until someone submits a review of you.  When your first review is approved and posted, then you will have a profile.  This profile will have a TER ID number listed right under your name in the top left corner of the profile page.

And no fair writing a first (or any) review of yourself!  (Some other review sites have been known to let that slide.)  It is against the rules and cause for being banned from TER.  (It's happened!)  TER has ways of finding out.  Besides, you are all honest and forthright ladies that would never dream of doing such a thing, correct?

You may already have a profile/reviews and not even know it.  (Some ladies I have spoken to here in the San Francisco area had not even heard of TER.)  Do a review search to determine if you have a profile/reviews.

Once you have created your account/user name and you have a profile/review(s), it is important that you have that profile linked to your user name. Contact TER using the "Contact Us" link (found on the Mail - Inbox page) and ask for your user name to be linked with your reviews. Make sure to include your username, TER ID number, and the e-mail address or phone number on your reviews to make it easier for TER to link them. Follow this up with a regular email, sent from the email address listed on your profile (if any), with the same request/information.  Send that email to [email protected].  Once your user name and profile/reviews are linked, the "See my TER Reviews" link will automatically appear under your name every time you post on the discussion boards.

That's my tip for the day.

Once they can "trust" you as far as content and spamming the captcha  and the moderation leaves and you go on automatic.

Thanks for this information. This site seems to be a bit more challenging than the other one, but I think I am getting it.

You're welcome! I have been here since 2002 and have come back so it does take some time to acclimate to a different type of forum.

...Never know how long it will take for your post to show. After posting for a while (few weeks, month or so) use "contact us" and ask to be un-moderated. If you've had no posting issues they will likely grant your request.

Check out the Message Board Policies link right next to the Self-Help Center link on the upper right of the discussion board. Both those links will help getting accustomed to TER.

Welcome.
