The Mandarin King rooms at the MO are absolutely incredible. The hotel does not start until the 38th floor and the windows are floor to ceiling in the main part of the room along with a raised soaking tub which sits directly below a full view window in the bathroom. Your lady, or your lady and you, can enjoy a champagne bubble bath while admiring the views of the city lights. The Bay Bridge Mandarin King probably offers more city lights than the Golden Gate Mandarin King. With the Bay Bridge King you practically have the entire financial district between your window and the Bay Bridge. Absolutely incredible. Just my biased $0.02 worth.

Can someone tell me which would be the best place for a hot date with a very special lady (not a provider) that I really want to impress...  Choices are the Executive Suite at the Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt or the Bay Bridge Mandarin King room at the Mandarin Oriental hotel?  I will be bringing my friend to SF for Chinese New Year and we'll spend lots of time in hotel and in Chinatown.  I want her to know how much I care for her.  Any opinions?  Thanks in advance.

I'd stay at a suite at the Mark and eat at teh gary danko restaurant.

Thanks for the advice.  I have a Bay Bridge Mandarin King room reserved.  Was just undecided about that or the jacuzzi tub for 2 in the Executive Suite at the the Hyatt at Fishermans Wharf.  I don't get to SF often enough to know these places very well.  Anyway, I do appreciate your comments and I will plan to stay at the MO in that room.  We do have dinner reservations also at Gary Danko and I am planning lots of sightseeing stuff but also plenty of "room time".

I am also considering a seaplane tour of the bay one morning and a chartered limo to just drive around the most romantic spots in town.  Of course, I will have to take her shopping, too.  Any other ideas or suggestions are most welcome.  I really want to impress her and show her an outstanding time that she will NEVER forget.  I think I am in love...  or something like that...

Thanks again.
