Why do guys who have a TER handle, but haven't writen any reviews, think membership in TER is good enough as a reference for a provider they have never seen before?  IMO a reference should be a nice juicy review of a provider who will at least know who the hell the guy is/was and can vouch that he is legit...

I mean you could be LF and still be a member of TER, right?

I certainly agree.  When I call a new lady I gladly give her my reviews.   And she can check on me that way.  The provider community is a close one so the two degrees of separation is more like it
