I met her during her last S.F. visit and had a blast!  I was totally apprehensive about the deposit at first but it was NOT a problem AT ALL.  No rip-offs whatsoever and hearing her explanation of why she conducts biz that way convinced me that it's a really cool arrangement (the way she handles the deposit).

Look at it this way, if you check out her TER profile her scores would indicate she was a rip-off if she was ripping people off through her deposit policy.

I have had another opportunity to be in San Francisco again  in October.  I'll be there   October 14-18.

Has anyone seen this lady during her last SF visit?

What is this about sending deposits ahead of time?

Just curious because it seems to be out of the ordinary request for sending deposits months ahead of time

Is it really necessay to book that far in advance??  We are not talking a month here but over 2 months. I don't live in SF but will be visiting often but can't plan that far in advance..

Of course, I can't speak on behalf of Ms Monroe nor can I make "adjustments" to her booking policy but if I were in your position I would contact her via e-mail and discuss your particular situation with her and maybe she would be open to accommodating you.  She might also travel to your area, which might make things easier for you if trying to book an appt 2 mos out doesn't work with your schedule.

Just a thought.  :)

I also saw her on her last 2 visits and sent her a deposit ahead of time. At first I was a little scared of sending money ahead of time, but when I did see her she explained her rationale for doing this, and it totally made sense.

I will also say that she is one of the best providers I have ever seen. I only wish she lived in the Bay Area. She doesn't come her nearly enough.
