I'd love to see a little more discussion here. I tried a while back to get some threads going, and a few of the folks joined in, but it didn't last. I joined the other local board to see what it's like, but there really isn't much going on ther as far as discussion goes. It would be great if we could begin to get a little sense of community here like there is on some of the other boards.
I've been looking back through this board since I became the Moderator, and I've noticed a few things.
First, SF has got to have the hottest group of ladies in the US. Absolutely beautiful AND great reviews. If I lived here, I think I would be broke and drained of all bodily fluids within a month. I'm thinking of moving here. ![]()
Second, there doesn't seem to be much actual discussion on the boards. I've looked back over the past YEARS, and the board seems to be devoid of some of the great hobby discussions you'll find on other regional TER Boards.
I had hobbied for 25 years before I found TER, having virtually nobody to talk about the hobby with. Once I found the site, however, I became addicted to the discussion because I can now share this part of my life with people who truly understand and feel like I do.
I was encouraged by the posts that popped up this past week, and I appreciate the posters' participation. I had hoped that more would participate because Channelguy brought up some great issues in his posts and the responders had some great insight.
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, what would it take to generate some great discussion on this board? Any input is appreciated, and I would love to see what we can do to get people involved.
If you could, please take a look at the other regional boards like LA, LV, NY, and even Minnesota to see some of the interaction that goes on there, it might give some ideas.
Thanks and Happy Hobbying
For me, it's a matter of not having much free time. I try to start discussion threads when I have a chance and I participate in others as they interest me and as time permits. ![]()
Peace...
I love the fact that you're trying to engender some discussion on this board.
I will definitely participate.
Thanks, DC, for the compliments about SF ladies!
and I don't know why. I have hobbying friends who are on TER in LV and LA and that board is usually lively.
If it wasn't for the ladys posting their adv's there would be nothing for days! Thank heavens for them or we'd log in to see blank pages. ![]()
Are we too techie in Silicon Valley to post? Is everyone in SF too busy protesting something? Is the population in the east bay out buying Raiders jerseys? How about everyone on the Peninsula...are you stuck on Hwy101?
DC's point of being able to discuss hobbying issues is a big deal for me - I can't even tell my best friend about it.
There are plenty of fun things to talk about that would get our minds off this crap economy.
That's my opinion.

IMO the reason this board is so quiet is because most hobbyist post on the well known local SF board which you should know about if your a Bay Area Hobbyist.
A lot of cities have other boards, but hobbyists and providers participate on both or all. What would you suggest to make that happen here?
I'm interested. With the ladies that I see posting ads here, SF has got to be jumping hobby-wise. I would love to see some of that here.
I don't post over there much either but for completely different reasons. ![]()
Peace...
Ha ha... "is everyone in SF too busy protesting something?"
That is hilarious- but at least for me, the answer is sometimes Yes! And that is why I love SF!
But as a provider who is new to the boards, I am excited to engage in some good discussion when the time and topic permit/ excite!
I look forward to many happy future interactions!
xoxo

As a result I think many more "hobbyists" frequent that board than TER. I prefer TER for the easier navigation and the "quality" of people, i.e., hobbyists - not the providers. Some of the hobbyists on that other board are a bit harsh, mysoginistic and in a word freakin' cretins!
I will disagree with you on one point. The SF Bay area has a dearth of true GFEs who are also 9 & 10s in looks.
Rather, there are some very hot girls here, but who are not GFEs or GFE light - as they like to say , i.e. no DFK, or BBBJ or both. There are some attractive girls who are GFEs, but who I would not rate as 9 or 10s in the looks department. The few here who are both 9 & 10s and GFEs tend to charge $500 or more. My price range is usually $300-$400. I will balk at non-GFEs charging this rate.
I tend to stick with the visiting French Canadians or visitors with track records of being true GFEs rather than go with the local gals. If I am in need for a spontaneous romp, I go with a select few locally who provide 30 minute sessions.
South Florida or even LA are far better places for hobbyists. I would definitely be in financial trouble if I lived in those areas!
I'd love to see a little more discussion here. I tried a while back to get some threads going, and a few of the folks joined in, but it didn't last.
