...but I think you're right. Folks (like me) will start to migrate over here soon.

I still think that 'former members' are stunned and it might take them a little while to find this place.

were when Phoenix fell to its knees in 2008 due to a massive agency bust..

We should NEVER live in fear, but always care for our own beings...   Safety first.. Not just for providers, but for our gentlemen as well...

I am not a board whore..  I don't post incessantly, but I do lurk, I read all and I choose when and where I post....

providers that are concerned about their "status" in the adult industry should (rightly so) ask their former clients to write them current reviews here...

Of course, this board has come under fire, but not only did TER prevail; but also, have expanded their market towards an international base..

Some folks have questioned why TER is safe... Well, because their moderators are JUST and HONEST.......  a rare thing in this adult world we lurk in...

there is a bigger issue at hand here.. One that NO ONE seems to want to address and that is the fact that with the downfall of that other site, he has been under investigation since 2011!!!

NOW they got his ass due to the promotion of girls who were not of a consensual age....

All of this hoopla and these massive posts seem to ignore the fact that there was a serious issue here..  No one EVER should attempt to encourage any child towards this....

I am stunned at some of the responses about oh what do I do now???  Oh what will my clients do...

at the end of the day....

WHAT IF IT WAS YOUR CHILD???

HOW WOULD YOU THINK?

so there,

$tay $afe,
always the most brutally honest,

Well...

I'm no board whore...   I lurk and am well, exclusive....

So, perhaps those of us who are truly exclusive will prevail...

Oi vey, I can only imagine the response my post will get...

I'm glad that it wasn't my only outlet for advertising and made the effort some time ago to build my brand.

come over to the newbie board with any specific questions. Also read the faq for newbies and the rules. you will get post removed that are considered an ad,, except in the ad board. I am on the other coast, just trying to ease your transition.

Yeah, I hear that.

Might also take a while to learn all the rules here to. I just wish basic members had access to the message system.

I'm not really sure how to address that. How would anyone know (besides the people involved in the investigation) that he was being investigated? I don't know enough about how that site was ran and what measures, if any, were taken to ensure that they wouldn't be in the position that they're in. Obviously of course, pay your taxes and don't launder money.

I don't think that the majority of members (probably 99.9%) from that site condoned any type of trafficking of minors. I don't even know if the grand jury indicted them for that. The only info. I saw so far were charges of "using the mail and the Internet to facilitate prostitution" and "multiple counts of money laundering."

Trafficking of minors is a major problem, but I don't think we should discount concerns from workers in a large regional area that lost a significant means of providing for themselves and their families in probably the safest and most convenient way possible for them.

I don't blame them one bit for being concerned

I have had this experience with another now dead and banned site. The learning curve is not that steep here and the newbie board is very helpful and friendly. Avoid general until you learn. have fun and be safe, or you can do like Fred Said and be fun and have safe. (lol)

reviews are a wonderful thing.  If you write two per month (yikes, I suppose I should go check the rules) you will have VIP access for free.

If you're not a review writer, the $$ you spend to be a vip here is well worth it.

If you write a review, and it is accepted, you get 15 days VIP.  Of course, you can pay for VIP as well, although I would not use a credit card.  There are other options such as money order.

The moderators screen reviews here, so no crap ass one line reviews or "price as agreed" like on our departed favorite site.  You have to check all the checkboxes and actually write some content.  I've actually had reviews denied because they weren't "explicit" enough, even though I checked all the boxes.

oh and you can't send in a review of someone that you've already reviewed before.  Actually, you can, but you won't get any VIP credit for it.  Also, if you are reviewing someone, they have to have a website of their own or listed on an ad site like backpage.  If the lady is listed only listed on a competitor review site, then TER won't accept the review.  If she has a website or ad on backpage, then that is ok.

And this should bring a smile to all the guys who hate when they see reviews of all 10's.  The use of 10's here is very limited.  Check section 7 of the review FAQ

http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/submitReview.asp

I haven't checked, but I think the VIP rates here are more than the VIP rates at you know where.

But yes, just like at the other site, VIP is worth it.

exactly, Mr Red and his assistant probably didn't even know they were being investigated.  The feds probably sent off subpoenas to the banks, payment processor and other US entities.  I'm sure they put in language in the subpoenas informing that bank, payment processor, etc CANNOT inform Mr. Red and his assistant or anyone else associated with the site or accounts of the investigation.

Also, not to mention that they probably set up fake accounts on our now departed site to monitor and who knows even participate.

I dunno, I saw plenty of people on the now departed site clamoring for more younger girls at cheaper rates.  Whole forums devoted to it, even.  While it sounds like Mr. Red did what he thought he could do to prevent underage or trafficked girls from being listed, it wasn't enough.  Human trafficking is the latest LE buzzword it seems.

The charges were posted online in an official court document.  There were NO references to underage anything, just money laundering and rackteering.

IMO, we all need to just make the best of whatever place we decide to "dwell" in. Im stilll looking for other options as this place does have its limitation and its been this way and I dont expect drastic changes. My attitude about this whole thing is that nothing will be like the old place and you just have to make the best of any situation at this point. Moving forward. Have fun guys!

I just found this site today.  I was a member on the other since 2003.  I tried to register using my old handle, mainman.  Was already taken.  Those who know me, know I live in Chicago and travel to the bay area for business often.  I had all the email addresses and numbers in my inboxes...little did I know.  If any of you ever posted on SA, please ping me.
