I always heard Grand Central (now gone) in San Jose was a good place for casual hook-ups .. but I  never was able to quite figure out how it worked.

Supposedly, ladies would hang in the lobby;  i'd poke my head in from time to time, but never saw it.
I watched the parking lot for a bit, there was a Pinay mama-san type sitting in an expensive ride that would hang there regularly .. never approached her, didn't know how to play it.

Walk-in hot tubs will probably go the way of Turkish Baths, which 100 years ago were on every block ...

One of my first sessions ever was at GC, with a blonde MILF type. I forgot her name but she was pretty popular in the early 2000s on RB. I remember she had shoulder length dirty blonde hair, Hazel eyes and hard blt ons with hard nipples. We met in the parking lot and walked in together. From what I remember there was nobody in the lobby other than the GC employee. No questions asked, I paid cash for the hour.  

IIRC It was a decently clean place, although we didn't  gi into the hot tub there was enough chlorine to kill anything that may have been in there. The table /bench could have used some better padding.

Super convenient location and you could eat at Harry's Hofbrau next door afterwards.

I never spotted ladies hanging in the lobby just waiting for us hungry guys to show up.

Once or twice I think I saw lurkers in the parking lot, kind of a minor SW spot, but I think most of the SJ SW action was typically elsewhere.

What I did was to hook up with several ladies, mostly RB ladies, who didn't have any incall facilities.

I did see several working lady and client  couples checking in when I was also waiting with a lady.  That and gay guys - it seemed to be a popular hook up spot for gay guys.  (I'm being presumptuous.  Maybe just a lot of platonic guy friends looking for a private room for a manly sauna / hot tub experience to talk sports 'n shit.)  Once upon a time I saw a couple that appeared to be just an ordinary couple on a different sort of date night.  (I bet they were married ... each to other people - lol.)

Might it come back?  IDK - opportunity for an entrepreneur - build a place in the Burbank area or something - significant investment.

I see that Watercourse Way still seems to be going.  Costs more.  There were a few times when I chatted up ladies about meeting up there, but it never materialized.  Seems like it'd be a lovely place to hook up.  See link.
