Hey everyone, please forgive these questions if they're ignorant.  I'm heading to San Fran later this month, staying in what I believe is downtown.  I'm staying near Post Street and Mason.  When I check out ads for providers I see different neighborhoods mentioned but I have no clue how close they are to where I'm staying.  Is there a general rule of thumb to tell?

If any providers see this and don't mind outcall to where I'm staying, feel free to message me.

Thanks in advance.

While you are pretty much technically what's called downtown, it really is bordering downtown and the tenderloin. Keep in mind that S.F. is 49 square miles literally. That puts where you will be staying just about alittle off dead center. I don't know what or who you have been looking at or for. But, for the most part I think I can say without a doubt you will be from within a block to 2 miles. But, then I am only speaking about S.F. proper. Hope that helps.

and that's a popular area for tourism as well as hotels where ladys stay.   That's a hopping area in the evening....unlike "financial district" which is about 1 mile away and dead at night.  All the bankers are home, fired, out of business or in Union Square looking for nookie.

Warning:  In the evening...Market St area south of about 6th St is not a good area to be.  Take you own Uzi.
