My initial venture down the rabbit hole started in 2012. Dating was never the problem, having a platonic relationship (friendship) with an attractive female ? Well, that's another matter. Flirting just became part of the package. There had to be a way to satisfy my physical needs, without overcomplicating my private life.
During one particularly eventful evening out, a friend had suggested we stop by his favorite MP in the City. I reluctantly agreed. After getting buzzed in, we found ourselves in a dimly lit waiting area. After signing in and helping ourselves to some tea, we took a seat on a nearby couch. After several minutes, a couple of ladies walked in. I was taken by the hand, as if a child and led into a separate room. This was the 'carrot' attached to the string...
I had used the services of an MP a half a dozen times, but felt uncomfortable with the process and stopped all together. I'm a 'suit' by day and it's hard to be discrete walking into an MP. There had to be another avenue. Then I discovered RB in early 2012. ...And down the rabbit hole I went ! I scheduled my first date with a newbie friendly provider that year. I must have had 4 or 5 different dates, each one as enjoyable as the last. My provider requests always included 2 references. RB became my resource and although I enjoyed reading the banter on the site, I had never participated, nor had I ever reviewed a provider. Then the site was pulled.
My first review came several years later. TER and P411 became my sources for information and scheduling. Here lies the reason for my query. I stumbled on a lady that I was interested in meeting. Although she has a half dozen reviews with TER in the last 12 months, she is not currently a member of P411 or Date Check. I provided her with a reference and was cleared. As I was putting together an e-mail to iron out the details of our meeting, I realized that this was the first date I booked, not using P411, since RB went down. Is P411 your main scheduling tool ? Are there other P4P sites that you use for info ? Is it a deal breaker for you, if a provider isn't reviewed on TER or doesn't participate on it's the Boards ? Do you pass on a provider who is not a member of P411 versus one whom is ? Thank you for any feedback. If you're not comfortable on the public board, feel free to PM me.
