Have the reviews ever let you down?

Have you ever relied on the information in a review when making an appointment and your actual experience didn’t meet the expectations set? Did you find that nothing was as indicated by the review?

I find that the information on these three preferences are the ones most subject to misinformation.  Granted, I understand that much of the determination as to whether they're on the menu are client-driven in the YMMV context. She may just not want to do it with you.

But it is the persistence of misinformation in the stats that is most troublesome, It compromises the search engine's accuracy if a provider does not provide what has been indicated in her stats, most often revealed by  a perusal of TER's bread-and-butter, the reviews.

A case in point is Ginger Frisky.  States ANAL: YES on her stats. I know her pretty well now, and you're not going to find anyone answering at her back door. How does one amend a provider's stats?

Also, I suspect guys claim DFK and BBBJTC just to make themselves sound cool.  Sheva's reviews claim a lot of that, and again, my history (and others) with her indicates otherwise.

This is what people seem to forget on two counts:

1) The information we provide in our reviews is only valuable if we are accurate.

I agree with you that some guys may want to give a big "hey, look what she did with me!!," self-gratifying review. another possibility is that; originally a companion may have provided services, which she no longer does. The original profile stands, until is amended.

2) We are responsible to keep the information updated. Whenever you see a discrepancy in a review, use the Report a Problem button on the Profile page. List all the things that need to be updated in a single report, sighting your sources - either you read the new information a recent review, saw it on her Web page, or have first-hand knowledge. The profile is separate from the reviews within it and the original reviewer is who's profile stands until it is amended by a member.

It's not made immediately clear in the procedures of posting a review, but EVERY time you post a new review, you should also submit a Problem Report to update the profile, if necessary.

This is one flaw in the reviews that I hope is getting fixed. We are asked to fill in the profile each time we post a review, but that information is not used to update the profile.

It's a little arduous, but let's do what we can to keep the reviews and their profiles fresh and clean.

Thanks for the input, keep it up.

It would be better if database stored procedures are used to update profiles based on per ponderous of data in recent reviews.

Until then, each of us just has to been diligent and report the problems to Staff.

I can truly empathize with your disappointment.  On the flip side, I was truly dismayed by a recent review of me, on another board, that listed DFK on the menu.  I felt a really special connection with this person and DFK happened during our visit.

Now I'm just afraid that everyone will expect DFK during all my visits.

It might even present a challenge to them to see if they can treat you as well.

And why do you suppose? Well, for one every man is different. Some men just lay there, and expect you to do everything. No passion, no energy. It's damn discouraging. By the way it happens with all providers, not just me.The other type tries to take too much, like your a freakin machine and yes I understand I'm providing a service but jeez we just met. Then there is the "perfect client". The one who gives as well as receives. Respectful but playful, and knows how to work it. Service can differ because of the phermones we all possess, as well as, the attitude of the client and/or provider on that day. Bad breath may be a factor, hygiene, too hairy, not too hairy, and so on. Hey you guys pick us, we don't pick you. So when it's not there, it's not there. We all take that chance in this profession and to think you're going to get the very best in every provider or client is a fairy tale. Were not makin love here guys! You make your calls and we answer, and we all hope for the best. On a personal note, 95% of my clients fall into the "perfect client". I have standards, yes, but most clients have been around and are mature enough to understand the hobby and what they need from it. Dry perspective? Maybe. But I'm still havin fun! When I stop havin fun is when I hang up the towel.

it's meant to give you an idea of what to expect, but certainly not ensure it.

Whenever I visit a lady, I suspend my expectations. If a review says that she DFK's I don't assume that she'll be kissing me that way. The best way to ensure that she won't be kissing me is if I try and stick my tongue down her throat. Expectations can rule themselves out.
