Many years in the past.   For Sara Jay, IIRC it was in the neighborhood of 8/1000, think I did 90 minutes.  Victoria Givens, also 8/1000 range.  And Harley Davis for 1K.

Harley was worth it.  Bucket list sort of thing, she was passionate, enthusiastic, great gfe/pse hour.  Wished I had gone for 2 hours.  Zero regret.

Victoria Givens was fine, technically high ranking, but IIRC it seemed a bit clinical, didn't really connect on a personality level (that was a few weeks or months after Harley, and the comparison was much in Harley's favor.)

Sara Jay was a sort of trippy experience.  She was great - the personal chemistry was ever so slightly odd.  She was a bit of an animal  Meeting was very bj oriented.

I've also gone with some other high-priced women: Just Juls and Natasha NZ come to mind.  Think Just Juls has retired, not sure about Natasha NZ (her web site is still active - members only.)   Just Juls was in the 5/750 range IIRC.  Super, super woman.  Saw Natasha NZ a couple of times before her prices escalated.  Think I saw her in the 3/4 range.  She's fantastic.  Makes "dirty" a lovely word.

I'd go there again, either porn stars or just super-fine elites in the 5-2k price range if cash flow was copious, but I think that there are plenty of fine 3-500 range women around to keep me happy.

I've seen ladies from 200-2k. After a certain price point (3-500) I felt I was reaching diminishing returns. In the really high price ranges it's about the marketing and packaging. If you pay 1800 the girl is not going to be any prettier or do anything different sexually than "going rate" girls.

I never felt I got any "value" in the higher price ranges. Diminishing returns happens in almost every area of life.  

Only you can decide what their value is to you. As long as you can afford it, I would suggest trying girls in the really high price ranges and compare them with the 3-500 girls. That way you can find out for yourself.

My own personal experiences, actually I donated way more than you've stated and no regrets or shoppers remorse. The reality of it, for me is depends of your personal choices and preferences of what you want and how you spent your time with someone, you have to remember you are hiring somebody the bottom line is, how do you make the time to be successful and satisfying for you. I was fortunate enough to make the right choices, do your research very carefully and shop wisely. If you pick the right one's money is no object..

I'm part of the 1k club.  I've seen a few ladies who are at 1k or over.  They were either models, penthouse pets/playboy playmates, or pornstars.

for me it was good value because I had seen them on the internet or other media and had wanted to meet them.  Total fantasy fulfillment and worth it to me.

I posted something like this when I was in the Central Valley while working on the Night Shift.

some guys like playing dress up and pretend soldier.  

some guys like to go to fantasy sports camp and pretend to be pro athletes

some guys pay money to drive expensive fast cars on a track.

And then there are some guys that like models, playmates and actresses.  I can't speak for the 1% guys that can afford 1k ladies every day, but for me it is fantasy fulfillment.  

I think I'd only spend 1k or over for pornstars, models, playmates, an extended session (2-3 hrs) or a double session.  I can't say I'd spend over 1k for an hour with an escort who wasn't a pornstar or model.

If you want to break it down to the most basic, crudest elements, then no a $1800 escort experience is no different than a $600 escort experience.  Heck, you will get guys who compare a $600 escort experience with a $200 escort or even lower and question why you are spending $600 when you could see someone a a lower rate 3x for the same investment

I get the itch to see a pornstar or ex- playboy or penthouse model when they have an ad pop up.  I usually walk away disappointed afterward because the reality seldom lives up to the fantasy.  Very FEW are worth $1000 IMO.  There are plenty of "unknown" but capable providers in the $3-500 range, so the last few years I have been slowing down with the high-priced providers.  Not worth the extra $ in my book.

Even if I was, I can't imagine the value would be there.
Even playboy or penthouse models, i've seen ladies at 3 to 500, even 2-250 that could give them a run for their money in the looks department. Of course that obviously depends on what you look for in looks.

Knowing that, I look for Service and a connection they "attempt" to bring to the table (Er bed)

To me it is about acting like they want me there, yes, of course I know it's acting but that perception and there attempt is what I look for and I can't imagine it getting any better at double or especially 4 times the price.

one was a bona fide pornstar with many dozens of videos who I'd watched for several years, the other a current top-level provider whose looks just struck me as uniquely attractive, & I've now seen her several times'.
The whole discussion reminds me of a discussion with a friend several years ago who, knowing I am a car guy, asked me if a Porsche Carrera was really worth over $ 100K?  My answer was that it might not be worth it to him, or to me, but if you decide you want one that's what they cost.  
I feel the same way about the 2 providers I saw, maybe not worth the money to most guys, but once I decided I really wanted to see them, well that's what they cost.  No regrets in either case.

I'm normally in the $300-$500/hr range, willing to go to $700 for 90 mins - 2 hours with a provider I've seen before and know I want an extended time with. I hobby on average every month or two.

I don't think I'd pay more than $600-$700/hour for a single provider, and I'd rarely go over 2 hours for any session (all sessions for me are BCD -- being public isn't an option).

But every once in a while....

A couple of years ago, I spent $2000 for 2 hours with Leiylah Rae and Bree Breeze. I'd been with both before, knew that they enjoyed each other, and knew that the two of them together had great reviews. Doing them together was close to bucket-list. And it was worth it.

I could not resist that identical twin deal.  It was a great three way and I'm glad I did it, but on the other hand I can get just as good or better of a three way through one of my favorites for $600 only without the twin part.  Got to hand it to the Palmer twins though, they hit the perfect rare speciality to allow them to price it there.

I hate to put words in anybody's mouth, but it feels to me like a rough consensus from this thread would be

Porn star you've always had a thing for - absolutely! Money well spent
Doubles - If you think you have the right girls, yea, probably
Attractive, well reviewed escorts who aren't part of the above - maybe, but maybe not.

Definitely seems like a good strategy for my own hobby budget.
