This message board doesn't operate like other message boards I've used where threads tend to stay in the same spot and new posts in the thread appear in that thread.  I've got no problem with that part at all but I'm used to threads moving around as they get updated.  :)

Given the stationary nature of the threads, how far back do you go when you're reading the board?  Do you stay on the current page or do you go back a page or two?

If I've posted or have a thread that captured my interest I will look for it and browse the previous ones. Yesterday, I went back 8 pages on the LA board.

Good point, it makes following the same thread more difficult here, as you have to scroll down several pages sometimes to find a thread, even if freshly updated.
Any case, answer to your question is:
- When looking for new threads, usually go one or two pages max
- When looking for existing thread, I usually search (by author with my name if I replied, or whoever initated if remember)
