I've lived in SF all my life, been around the world in the military, wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq and I still avoid "the 'loin" as much as possible. Not only is it unsafe but LE is always lurking around looking for the criminals. So many better options in town and down in the Peninsula i.e San Mateo AAMP's 30 minutes away.
