Although I've asked a date, if she would mind if I wrote a review of our time together, I've never been asked by one to do so. The general response is 'yes' and 'I look forward to reading it when you're done.'
How much emphasis do you place on a 'rating' versus the 'review' ? Do you have a minimum rating standard filter during your search ? What a slippery slope this 'system' can be. I don't filter by ratings numbers at all. I generally search by physical characteristics (i.e. color of hair, height, etc...) I find the reviews helpful, when I look for something performance specific. I'm not a fan of the 1-10 scoring system. I don't want to 'bring down' the average. I would welcome someone telling me not to write a review, should I not be able to give her a certain number. If you could place a percentage weighting on rating versus review, what would that be
However, I will say if a guy gives me anything lower than a "9" and tries to see me again, I feel very salty about it! My reviews are pretty stellar though so I do have a higher standard for myself. If I feel like we clicked and get rated an 8, I feel a bit betrayed!
All i care about within the review is that it is accurate! I have had reviewers completely make up details. Sometimes in my favor, sometimes to my detriment. I don't like a lie even if it's a positive one, because I don't want my service to be misrepresented in any way.
And both us usually know how after the session what type of review I'll write. I've been told on occasion I'm a tough scorer, but I go back with TER before the top 10 list was started and there wasn't such a emphasis on scores.
For me, the numbers are meaningless, I read the reviews. Btw, Lola I appreciate your honesty in your answer to the OP.
