MysteryAdmin you asked several interesting questions that I would have enjoyed knowing as well. I do hope the men of SF will step up to the plate and start partaking more on this board as a dialogue on topics other than posting ad's and ISO would be nice. Who knows guys maybe you'll get more girls interested in visiting.

What is your strategy?  Do you use the major online listing sites or do you spend time on review sites and message boards?  Or some combination of the two?

What kinds of criteria do you use to make your list of candidates and then decide on who you will actually try to see?

Also, how do you deal with differences in providers and provider offerings from your hometown when you travel to the Bay Area (or anywhere, for that matter)?  Rate and service differences come to mind immediately to me.  When you travel somewhere, do you "expect" the providers in that area to provide the same kinds of services you're used to from the local ladies in your area?

Peace...

What I have to say doesn't quite answer your question, but nevertheless I want to tell you something related to your questions.

I live in the SF Bay Area. I've had great luck in writing to out of town providers whom I am attracted to when I see their websites. I tell them that I'd like to meet them. I ask them if they ever plan to visit the Bay Area. Surprisingly, a very large number of them write back and, indeed, do come to visit SF. I then am able to schedule an appointment with them..

What I'm saying is....rather than my waiting to meet them if they decide to visit the Bay Area I truly think that I encourage them to visit by asking them if they do plan to visit.

Thanks for the reply.  I sometimes do the same as you but I tend to just ask if they ever visit the Bay Area and sometimes I don't get replies back ( :( ) and I've received one response from a lady who sounded interested in visiting (even to the point of asking my help to locate a hotel) but she just never made it out here.  :(

Maybe I should start inquiring about Bay Area visits more and between the two of us... ;)

Peace...

Well, I'm sure some of the guys who browser the board are "lurkers" who just like to read what others have to write.  Maybe others are too busy to post.  Maybe they're trying to let me and easytoc do all the "leg work" to get the ladies interested in visiting the Bay Area.  :D

Question for you, Ms Carlee:  do you think more interactive discussion with the Bay Area "locals" here would stimulate more interest in visiting the Bay Area?  I guess getting to know some of the locals might be a motivation to some degree but how does that factor in when planning a visit when considering the other factors (like cost of accomodations, revenue projections, ROI, etc)?

I sometimes like to throw around jargon I don't really have a need to use, like ROI... :D

Did I scare anyone? LOL

In response to your question MA, yes, I do think more dialogue would entice visiting ladies to venture to the bay. I know that is one reason I tend to visit LA so often.

I personally, will monitor the board prior to my arrival and while I am there to get a feel for the men of that particular city, as well as keeping up with current events. I am currently thinking of heading east during the summer and have been watching the boards to determine what lucky city will be graced with my presence.

So boys keep that in mind when you are deciding to post or not. Many of us do like to be mentally f**ked too. Give us a reason to visit. *wink wink*

Mentally f**ked?  That works for me... I guess that's better than being mentally f**ked with... ;)

I find it interesting that you use the board to "feel out" the guys whom you might meet when visiting a city.  I don't know if you post ads on any of the listing sites but for the sake of this discussion, I'll assume you do (even though I know what they say about making assumptions... ;) ).

What I find interesting is you can interact with some of the "locals" of some city you want to visit here and then you run an ad on a listing site and might end up booking sessions with people who never saw your post here or haven't heard of TER.  I wonder just how representative of each region are the TER members who post on the boards for those regions.  Like am I a "typical" San Francisco Bay Area client, you get the idea.  :)

Have you found this has been an effective way to "gauge" whether or not it's worth visiting any given city?

As a side note, there's a lovely provider from Phoenix who I saw down in L.A. because I saw her Eros ad and didn't even think to look at the L.A. TER board for her posts there.  :)

Peace...
