Just get a good electric razor & that will work fine.
Braun series 7 is an excellent razor.
Works great for trimming the shaft, nut sack, & hedge line.
Just be careful cuz it can nick you so I recommend trimming the day before & doing a quick touch up b4 u go.
I have had many girls comment on how nice my stuff looks
Unless you want waxing or into someone else doing it for you.

I've done the electric razor and blade, mistakes are.... painful.  Waxing is an interesting if a bit frightening idea.  I'll be honest, not sure I'd be comfortable with a guy handling my junk and there is no way I could have a woman do it without popping wood.  I think I'd more than just a shot.  

Any guys here actually been waxed

Ted D Bare in SJ is home of the "Manzilian"  - she takes no gruff, apparently is funny, and her website gives a good primer/description of the process.  Does men and women, but very, very frank about no funny business.

Read their website and reviews for more info.  I think other waxing places would do it too, but IMHO these are unlikely places to go for pain and pleasure  

That said: never waxed; been shaving and not had a problem.  Slow it down, don't knick, and the K-girls don't complain.
