Visiting Oakland next weekend, traffic looks bad for trying to visit in S.F. Looking for provider recommendations for the Oakland area, appreciate any help.

There are plenty of great Oakland providers, and since you can find them with just a bit of effort (search here, on P411 and another board whose name means "the period of time scheduled for work at night, as in a factory or other institution" and rhymes with Fight Rift.  

However, BART works really well and links Oakland to Union Square in a reliable 45 minutes or less. Most providers stay around Union Square and those that don't are reachable with a $5-10 Uber ride from Union Square. Traffic is also variable by time of day. Google Maps lets you set departure time and gives you a projection based on traffic - can be anything from 30 minutes to 90 minutes Oakland to SF, but usually outside of commute times it's not that bad. Great tool.
