I thought inbox messages were always for VIP only?

to be able to read messages in your inbox.  
If you are and still can not reach your inbox the you better contact CS.

That could be right. I just seem to remember that 5 or 10 years ago, non-VIPs could "read" and "reply to" messages sent from other members that had VIP, but couldn't initiate a new message. I could be thinking of a different board though.  

No biggie. Whoever it was that tried to PM me will figure it out.

...to me a few times. It would be nice if there were some sort of flag that indicates non-VIP status for those of us who cannot retrieve messages for the VIP members who try to message them.
