I'll be staying near the Moscone center for a week and looking for company.  Could go either incall or outcall.

I don't know the geography of San Fran.  When looking at ads and reviews, what area am I looking for?  Does that area have a name?

That area is called "South of Market" or SOMA.
you would be looking for ads for that area, or Union Square to the north, or the financial district, to the east of you.
