Well, my visit will not be for another 6 weeks (End of October), but I am trying to book my hotel now while the getting is good.

If there a certain area better than others that are best for a visiting escort to entertain visitors? I am looking for (though it may be a tall order to get all of these) a safe area, relatively good parking and fairly good dining/restaurants within a mile radius.

Forget about parking - it doesn't exist!.  Just get a nice downtown hotel accessible by public transportation.  There will be lots of good food near any good hotel.
