Wanting to visit the Big City, but am worried about not finding my way, I was wanting to offer incall, but need advice, on where.

If you want to stay in San Francisco itself, there are some Hotels in the Union Square area that tend to work out well.  If you wanted to stay closer to SFO (the airport), there are a TON of Hotels to choose from.

Alternatively, you could stay in Emeryville, which is just across the bay from San Francisco and is somewhat "centrally located" and provides convenient access from other parts of the Bay Area.
