seems like most  hot girls, I see on SJose backpage , and San Mateo, are images stolen from the web.

is that the general rule of thumb there?

But you need to be careful, that is why you need to do a Google search of the phone # and a Google Image search of the photos.

That is a the best way to know if the lady you want to see is real.

If you don't know how to do that let me know and I can help you

P.S. The girl below is not a provider

The BDSM list seems to list some legitimate providers.  I see some questionable ads there(they look like they are really escorts trying to get bdsm business, but I also see some legitimate ladies.

The rule of thumb is: if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Google Image and Tineye Searches are the two most common and popular tools to check pics out.

BP as far as I know that they are an advertising agency that deals with whether direct, second or even third parties, they don't have the STRICT GUIDELINES like most of the other dating sites. Which you have to follow their terms and conditions, which they really enforce it to the dots, and don't allow any fake or other images besides yourself when advertising your product, otherwise it will be edited or even declined, the only catch to these is as long as you can prove that the images is yours, no matter how old, altered and ancient they are is all good. BP on the other hands claims that they don't do the police work, the police do all the police work. So it's not a general rule. Like everyone else is saying you can use the site but always keep in mind the Forest Gump Box of Chocolate.. Good luck...

Most pictures that are fake tells you 3 things, 1st the girl is underage, 2nd that she wishes she looks like the pictures she posted lol, and 3rd which happens a lot it's the police.  Stick with who you know and always look into the reviews. If the site does not have reviews choose a different site. Always Be Safe Play Safe and Have Alot Of Fun

What you stated maybe true occasionally but scarce. I'd say in 80% of the case it's just:

1)  the girl is not attractive at all and posting her real pic will GUARANTEE that she will get no call. With the fake pic at least she has a small chance of some guys horny enough to overlook it and stay anyway.

2) the girl is decent looking enough but is deathly afraid that her family and/or friends recognize her hooking on the internet. Usually applies to girls 18-24 who may do it out of curiosity, part-time or one-time only for some quick cash

Talking about general rules, whether or not BP has rules or no rules, my observations right now BP has dominating the advertising the shopping sites especially in this region, BP has everything from high end to the subway and driveway products, they have allowed advertising to everyone and if you're the shopper you have more varieties to choose. You just have to do your homework carefully, for some it is risky territory, which a few of us doing this hobby for a while it's daring and exciting dealing with the unfamiliar, it's part of the hobby, and some that wants to be secure and safe seeking for the high end or black tie affairs they prefer loyalty with the familiar sites, but sometimes those sites gets old, and their products in the market is somewhat limited, same ladies been their for decades, identify themselves well establish the great ones, so overall all is good. Competitions is great. A wishful thinking on my part that maybe someday, somebody will figure something out to make all this things simple. Right now we just have to live with all these crap and confusions...

Very true! Always google the phone number listed. I googled mine and the first 5 sites on google are all legitimate sites, if you've been doing this a while, you'll know what sites are reputable.

If not much comes up for the number, and you don't feel comfortable. Don't do it.

Well, I only session at most 2-3 times a month because I don't want to do more than that.  Its not worth it to me to sink a lot of money into ads.  Maybe paying a lot on many websites is an indicator that the provider is high volume.  And they can pry my ID out of my cold, dead hand.

I've actually posted on BP once with my real picture although it had my face cropped out. I agree with what the others said above, its like the Craigslist of escorts with lots of traffic (hence the less than current or stolen pictures) and lots of LE.

I would also like to mention that BP usually doesn't have the best selection because they do no verification of photos, and is pretty cheap to advertise on. I only paid about $8.00 to advertise on there for a month. Let's compare that to other sites that higher end ladies usually advertise on, such as Eros and p411.

Eros charges me $330 a month for my VIP listing in San Francisco (would be $150 for a non-VIP listing), and $75 for my listing in San Jose. P411 is free for an account, though you need 2 provider vouches or at least 2-3 prior reviews from this site to join. P411 is very, very strict on who is allowed to join, and for a top 10 listing it is $350/month in San Francisco. These two websites also offer the option of photo verification, which requires your driver license (or any other state issued ID), a picture with your ID next to your selfie, and a selfie with you holding a sign with the date.

My point with the above is that usually ladies on these higher end sites put in a substantial investment into their business and you have a very low chance of encountering a bait-and-switch with their strict verification processes.
