A little disappointment with this board...sad_smile

I am a little shocked to see the callous remark to Nicole's post.  She was visiting, her kindness and trust caused her to slip up (all of us are guilty of it at one time or another, though we might not have paid the price), she posted a warning for the "ladies" of the board, and she in turn is told to "End this subject... get over it and move on".  I can understand the apathy to the post by some of you gentlemen but was there a need for such a crude comment?  Her post wasn't offensive, didn't provide any personal information nor was it a paragraph long - it was a four word post for crying out loud!

Nicole was just trying to warn the rest of the providers.  You'd be surprised how many ladies inquire for the information.  We're all trying (at least I hope) to attain some form of community in this world, both hobbyists and providers alike. I thought the post was completely okay - as it is relevant information on the providers' behalf, wouldn't you agree?

I understand that this was one individual but imagine what that might cause her to feel about the rest of the gentlemen on this board - and perhaps other ladies who plan to visit that view the board?  And Nicole, just so you know, the rest of the guys here are respectful.

I apologize for the lengthy comment and I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion but it just bothers me, as a provider, to see such a disconnect in the community.  Due to the lack of posts, I was hoping that we would encourage more postings on this board.  Providers (especially visiting providers) shouldn't be bashed on because they're trying to provide applicable information for those who seek it.  I'd hate to see it continue on.

xoxo,
Aliyanna
