I go every year as well & love to wear a dress with a pretty hat on. Eating is an event in it's self at the Del Mar race track you have to be ready. I love trying all the new items they created for us to indulge in!
I would give a discounted rate to hang out at the Del Mar races because it has been an ATF for me, since I was a child we have always attendedI've only missed one year since 2005.
This year, I'd like to take a fun and easygoing provider on one of the days.
Prefer a lady who is a hardcore eater and can hold her food.
I'm talking double churro and chocolate covered bacon in one hand and turkey leg in the other.
I've been dieting all year for this event, so it's time to indulge.

Two totally separate events. Race season begins after the fair ends and goes much longer.
The fair is better and worse in its own way.
Better: rides, tons of food, garden show, hobby show, gem show, livestock, more family friendly etc
Not so good: crowds on the weekends, little shady spots, rigged games, etc
The races are great also! The excitement!
Better: gaming and betting on races, more adult crowd, dressing up, only busy closing/opening day, etc
Less great: gets dirty fast opening day, people drink too much, sad if you lose, limited free seating, etc

That could be interesting. LOL
I did watch the 139th Annual Kentucky Derby though.

I'm ways looking for another fair friend!

I already have my pass even! Yay!
But I always feel bad about the horse races... Maybe I have seen one too many documentarys about the darker side of horse racing, the mistreatment of the animals, the euthanasia of some of the animals who are no longer useful, I wish there was a way for me to watch with a happy heart instead of worrying about the animals so much.
Dressing up with gorgeous dresses and giant hats sounds fun! I always think "my fair lady" with Audrey Hepburn
Del mar fair is awesome though ![]()
I'm sure we would get along just fine.
I will be in contact with you shortly.
And I meant the SD Fair (the one with the food, games, shops, rides, etc)

More of a voyeur myself - I love to watch the sling shot.
Not much of a ride person.
I tried the sling shot one year and had a headache afterwards.
I prefer the rigged games, food, and shops!
Sack race! I'm in!
Mark Mitchell (male escort) and I went last year and he kicked my butt racing down the slides!
Very fun!
Sounds like a lot of fun. Much better than "fair." ![]()
******Rides first fair food last lol.....*******

Well, there is a trick to this, ya know. Eat all the great food, go on the fun rides, puke all over the crowd down below (you can have a contest to see who can splatter the most people), then...time to eat again. Rinse, repeat!

How about a bring your favorite guy or gal the the races day?
You don't need a lady that day. Every hottie within 600 miles is there and I'd say the usuall BAC is about 2.0. The lines for ladies for the bathrooms is hilarious! Nothing but super mini skirts. Ladies too f'd up to walk on their CFM pumps squeezing their legs together trying not to fall down or pee themselves.
I always found this gif entertaining.
Enjoy.
Hopefully it doesn't get removed for being off-topic.
Seems relative to the subject, though, since it's a race after all!

Hilarious the way the dog is looking back to see if she's gaining.
I go every year!
Already planned my closing day date!
