Back when I bought my first used Audi, they shared the lot with Porsche.  As I was waiting for my car to get pulled around front I was admiring a brand new 911. My sales guy walked up and we stood eyeing the finest production sports car on the market - there truly is no substitute. "I wonder what are the payments for one of these?" I asked.  

"If someone walks on this lot asking about financing," he quipped "they're not serious. You either pay cash, or you can't afford it."

With all this discussion about getting the best pussy for the dollar, it made me think back to that conversation. You want the best pussy for the dollar?  That's easy. Find her, and pay what she's asking. You want a same day appointment?  Tip her the previous session. You want to move to the front of the line? Treat her like an escort; arrive on time, be a gentleman, stay within the lines, leave a little early even.  Remember, her favorite position was, is, and always will be, you standing in front of your ATM. It's as it should be.

Very good points.  And I agree with most of it.  However, I think a more realistic analogy would be a situation where two Porsche dealerships are located directly next door to each other.  One dealership wants you to pay in cash and frowns at the idea of financing.  The other dealership, which also has the car you're interested in, was not only more than happy to talk to you about financing, but they were also really nice people.  They're confident you'll love the car and your car buying experience so much, you'll return to buy multiple cars in your lifetime.  Who would you deal with?

I never negotiate when I hobby in the US.  However, considering how much competition there is in SD alone, I never understood why a girl would be against anything that might lead to a sale.  I understand if you don't want to get caught talking about anything illegal.  However, what's better?  Negotiating with someone, settling for 10% off of your price, and still going home with $280, or refuse to negotiate and go home with nothing.  Your ego doesn't need to pay the bills.

That's why I called it an analogy.  And although you'll never find two Porsche dealerships next to each other, you can always find another provider "next door" (i.e., TER and every other hobbying website I'm apparently not allowed to mention here).

Jezebel, I'm all for empowering women.  However, this is providing/hobbying and you need to take it for what it is, a business.  If they're truly your friends, then why is money involved in the first place?  How often would you see them if they stopped paying?  Where would they go if you stopped providing?  So, why am I considered disrespectful for talking about a fairly important part of this equation?  I'm not saying all women should haggle until they faint, but why jeopardize a sale?  And why is the guy suddenly a misogynist for negotiating?  If you don't want to talk about sex for money because it's illegal, that's understandable.  But, if you think it's demeaning to mention money, you're definitely in the wrong industry.  That being said, however you want to run your business is up to you.  Oh wait, it's not a business . . .

FYI Jez, I understand this reads a bit hostile.  It's really not.  Regardless of how I sound here, I'm not a mean spirited person.  The girls I've seen can vouch for that.  I'm just not afraid to speak my mind and I find this topic a little hypocritical.  It also tends to bring out the fire in the forums

If we're as interchangeable as cars from a competing same-make dealership, just go to the one with the price you like; it seems like a non-issue if you're happy to move on to the provider next door.

If ladies truly needed $ to eat, I'm sure there would be haggling (and maybe with a small subset, that is the case), but why haggle when it's not necessary? No, it's not misogynistic to haggle, but when you know it won't be welcome, it would be polite to refrain in those instances.

When you put forth appreciation and trust you will receive it back; at least that's my theory.

Being a repeat client is your best friend in this hobby.  When you find someone who does it for you, keep driving that car for all its worth, it will end soon enough  Granted I  love looking at the AMG models,  but i know they are out of my league.. Not gonna be a idiot and ask stupid questions, complain, or otherwise. It is what it is.  Too much fun, life, and sex to be had.  And frankly, at the end of the day, we all want to be appreciated, even us pricks....peace and love
