Okay according to the report it was a year long investigation. So some of us could have been visiting those spas while they were under investigation. There was nothing about customers being cited or arrested so I’m assuming the police were posing as customers and they were strictly going after the spa owners? I wonder what they had as evidence? Were they secretly filming the girls offering sexual services for $$$? If the girls committed the illegal acts do they not have to arrest or cited them at that time, or can they continue to collect the evidence even after the girls already did the illegal acts?
So any of the spas may be under investigation now and we don’t know it 😭. I’m glad I’m not visiting FS spas.
I’m still “concerned” with the comment about it being a year long investigation. What evidence are they collecting for a year? If they send undercover officers in posing as customers and the masseuse(s) offers sexual services don’t they have to cite or arrest them right there? If the masseuse committed an illegal act/crime in their presence and they don’t do anything, so the masseuse continues to do it for a year, can’t she/they say they weren’t providing services to cops? Or are the cops putting in hidden cameras? If there are hidden cameras, can we as customers be videotaped? Is there a right to privacy if we believed we are disrobing behind a closed door, like in a dressing room, trying on new clothes? If there are hidden cameras and we as customers are videotaped, can we be cited/arrested for soliciting prostitution months later for paying for extras?
Sorry for these “stupid” questions. I just don’t know. This is why I don’t go to FS spas, but what if the nonFS spas are being investigated and there are hidden cameras and the masseuse was only providing sex to a few, but HE daily?
