A cancelation for fear of......

....she may not get an 8, 9 or 10.

I have been on TER for well....longer than I care to remember.

I see TER has a guide. A way to avoid those individuals who really and I mean really may not be someone they represent. I understand about photo shop.

Last week I reached out to San Diego local provider. She was quick to respond that she was not available when I wanted to see her but she gave me a few choices. I confirmed back with in a day or two and we picked a date and time that worked for us both. Four days prior to our meeting she gave me her address, when to call, etc. You know the drill.

Fast forward to the day of our get together.  In the afternoon She says she does not want to see me for the fear that I may not give her a review that is above a 8, 9 or 10. Really?

She tells me her goal is to get on the top 20 list of providers in San Diego. She felt it was to much of of a risk to see me for fear that I will write a review and that it would not be above an 8 on both categories. I don't even remember the last time I even wrote a review.

I don't know about you, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty also has a chemistry and vibe associated with it.

I know there are a few guys who will give a 9 or a 10 because they think that will enhance their visit the next time they that lady. I really see this was an open forum (with boundaries). I think this is a rare exception as I have never heard this one before. And for that reason, I am sharing my honest experience.

This very topic came up not too long ago

Milan tequila said if a guy isn't easily pleased she wouldn't see him. Look at the beginning of the thread to the link I posted. Freya wanted to have the dude blacklisted

Poor providers have their priorities messed up!

When & if she does get to the top 20 good luck staying there with your bad attitude!

Well - first off let's recognize that a Provider can refuse service to anyone for any reason. And even if we think it's shallow and immature - you gotta admit at least she was honest. Cutting you loose with a couple of hours to go?  I'd say bad form.

But, let's also look at your review history - maybe outdated, nevertheless you gave a 5/6 to someone used to 8, 9s and 10s. Hey if that reflected your experience then those scores are justified. But if I'm a Provider and I view your history, 3 years old as it is, that stands out, along with a trend that your more recent scores were less favorable. So, if my business model is to break into the top 20 - now I see you as a risk.

Again - I'll be the first to admit she could have done this as part of the initial screening, so boo to her for shutting you down so close to the appointment. But, criticizing her for her reasons is like criticizing any Provider for choosing what services or what rates they offer. Bottom line it's their business to run - its the Free Market Economy's role to reward or punish her practice (which we cant because you didn't out her)

I recently had a Provider I had corresponded with for some time, via email, chat and TER, out of the blue let me know she wouldn't see me because "we weren't a good match."  First emotions are ones of rejection - what?  I'm a Client - how can she not want my money?  Once calmer heads prevail - you realize again - no shoes no shirt no service.

I also saw someone recently who consistently scored hi marks. I did not have a good time. I chose NOT to write a review which undoubtedly would have been the lowest one she had numerically, because she didn't do anything wrong - services as advertised, looked like her pics, no rush. So if I walked away under impressed, maybe that was me - having a bad day - not in the right mindset for a session.

You have every right to take the tack that you will rate a Provider exactly as you see fit regardless of their scoring history.  They have every right to take a look at yours and decide not to take the risk of a bad score. Her timing was poor - nothing else.

Totally agree... I could see her cancelling if it seems like a risk. Maybe she should have checked that out as part of her screening, BEFORE she accepted the date, but definitely see where she might have been coming from.

i was recently rejected by a provider, and man, i can't believe the negative emotions tha t surged thru my mind.

i know i'm a nice guy, and this provider actually initiated contact with me on pm's here on ter.  so i thought for sure she was interested in seeing me.  until i made a certain roleplay request, which has not been a problem for any of the other many ladies i have seen.  but suddenlyncorrespondence with this girl dried up completely.

well, what can you do.  chalk it up to chemistry and move on.

in fact i'm seeing someone tomorrow, who is happy to role play with me, and gets way higher ratings.  so the moral is, as w/civilians, when it comes to rejection, it's usually the rejector who is losing out.

This is just crazy to me...I can't even see the list because I'm not a VIP member...and I'm sure I'm not even on it..I'm very part time and maybe not well known to the majority? I care about my rating, however....I do not rely on my business to survive. I haven't had a review in a year...and I never ask for one. Not that I wouldn't love a new one; and I did take a break for 3 or 4 months. But I would never base anything on some list. Especially one I can't even look at. But to ask that or cancel because of that is really....wow. lol I thought at first when I saw the post that maybe she had read some of your reviews and maybe you had always given bad ratings or something...

All the girls I've met, I have wanted nothing more then to build friendships with. I don't know a ton of people in SO Cal, and do n't need or want to compete with anyone. I've had enough competition in my life. ;) Anyway, just my two cents.

You got my curiosity up, saying you doubted you'd be on the list. I've only looked at it once or twice myself, because I agree, a ranking on a list all by itself is all but worthless as an indication of whether a lady is the right match.
First, It looks like someone has to have at least 20 reviews to get on the list at all, so someone new or part time like yourself wouldn't be there no matter how good your scores.
It also looks like a provider working in several cities could game the system by changing their home city.
If I understand the system, in San Diego you'd be about 30 on the top 100 list. In LA, you'd be right at 100. Obviously, the more ladies working in one location, the higher the cutoff will be. If you decide to start working the list, better move south girl - lol!

You are definately tops on my list!!
Its  great that you are honest in your reviews.. It holds more value..

I use TER mainly for a few reasons.
1. to make sure they are not a rip off first of all.
2. to see if she is the type of provider I like( you can get a good idea from reading the reviews more than the actual numbers)
3. to make sure she is not LE
other than that I rarely look at the actual totals. Of course if she has mixed reviews or only a few I tend to stay away. Besides girls in the top 20 tend to be very busy and expensive. Just my two cents.

Even though ladies may be in the top twenty because they are good, I look below the twenty because A. I don't want to pay inflated prices and B. MANY, MANY ladies below the top 20 are great!  Seems like the Top 20's have a tude and I don't like that!
