I just thought it would be nice to speak of him tonight.

I loved him, and he loved me.  My first memory was of him coming to my aid.  I miss him so..............

This is my first Father's Day without mine. He passed in March..

I spent most of yesterday "talking" to mine, I lost him last year, and still have a hard time realizing he's not there. But I know he heard every word I said to him

That blessing would be you. He was and "is" blessed to have you for a daughter and I sense that you feel youself to have been blessed to have him for a father.

Sometimes the most simple thought can be the essence of sweetness, the essence of goodness. I sense that you are sweetness and goodness personified.

I lost my father about 8 years ago.....He loved me and called me his little princes, after he found out about me! There is a Luther Vandross song that everytime I hear it I think of him and brings a tear to my eyes. The name of the song is "Dance With My Father" and it is really the way I remember mine. Thanks dad I still love you!

I almost feel guilty posting here, I'm so lucky.  Mine's still here.  Not a whole lot of formal education but a hoard of wisdom.  He's 80 something now and I dread the inevitable, but I'll cherish every moment while he's still here.
