I am looking for a recommendation for fine dining in the Gas Lamp district. I do not eat red meat and want a quiet romantic setting. This will be for monday night. Any suggestions?

Suite and Tender in the Se hotel on 5th Ave downtown. It's perfect for an intimate dinner, and the food and service are terrific. http://www.suiteandtender.com/

The Grant Grill on 326 Broadway is gorgeous with exceptional service. http://www.grantgrill.com/

Great seafood at Oceanaire at 400 J Street: http://www.theoceanaire.com/

Oceanaire for seafood and Bertran's at Mr A's for excellent food, view and romance.

Wish it were me!! Are you in San Diego for long? Check your mail.........

So go to sandiegorestaurantweek.com and go check out the restaurants that are doing a thing for restaurant week.

A lot of fine dining places are running pre-fixed dinners.

Sidenote: It WILL be crowded as hell if you go to a restaurant doing a special for this week and will most likely not have an 'intimate' setting because restaurants are probably adding extra tables everywhere to accommodate the large influx of customers.

I highly recommend a nice dinner+ with Katelyn, she is a absolute pleasure to dine with and provides the true GFE package some of us may prefer. Every time I drive by Roppongi's I will remember my wonderful evening with Katelyn. SD guys should make a effort to get her into our city more often, as she is more regular to LA/OC and rarely gets down here, she is one of the real good ones guys in all aspects with a full menu and carries herself with class.
