So, I was in a program called TAG for talented and gifted students in my early and middle school years. In middle school TAG hosted a live children's television show and I was the anchorwoman/kid. I still have the videos to prove it. But that isn't the best part.
The greatest part of my experience in TAG was being suspended from school while attending the annual Shakespeare Festival out of town. While there, I convinced all of my friends to sneak out and go swimming with me at the hotel we were staying in. Of course, we got caught and were suspended from school for two days!
My beloved mother, who spends her days in a courtroom testifying as to whether a person is fit to interact with the general public, thought it was ludicrous and she let me invite all of my friends over to hand out by the pool. I had a great tan when I went back to school Monday.
