I don't have a business license, not an escort, don't have anything to sell like time or any of that.. so.. THAT is why a guy needs to go to EROS and read my advertisement and digest the wording there.

I don't really care who I alienate, because I wouldn't want to date that guy in any case.  Ahhh the freedom of it all!

I date, I accept gifts.  Maybe four dates in a month, Maybe a couple less, Maybe a couple more.  I'm doing the graduate school thing.  Sometimes I want to take a trip out of town or my car needs a brake job and guys like to help me out.  No crime in that.

I do this as kind of a little dating service.  Why the escort advertisements?  Because it's a VERY good way to keep the boundaries and to meet extremely interesting men that want short dates in the fashion that I want~~ short dates. And when the date is over, I don't need to worry about stalker boy calling me up or following me home, or thinking that I love him.

So... you perceive arrogance, when all I was trying to do was answer Sedona's question that a guy needs to do more than read the information that's here on TER IF he wants to date ME.  If you had read all the words you would have seen the "THANKS to Sedona" at the end for allowing me a small vent

BTW.. I find the word BASTARD to be hugely offensive.  Talk about rubbing someone the wrong way.  Just a suggestion, find a different slur to use when you're trying to be "comical".  My best friend is adopted and I admit it wasn't until I found out that I took that word out of my vocabulary.  (I would have preferred to send this entire post to you via PM, but you're using an alias.. so... I'm unable)

And YES, TER is great for confirming who is a RIPOFF, and these discussion boards, if you keep up with them are a GOLDMINE of information, especially if you are diligent and make some careful friendships..... the backchannel information can't be beat!

Most of my little sarcastic "rub the cat the wrong way" posts are written with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.  It's the way most of the DB's that I go to function.  I'll admit I don't go to needlepoint boards, but I do go to The Stearman Restorer's board and those guys/gals will duke it out about a fitting just as intensely as we go on about.. well handing out info to an unknown.  The organic gardening chat.. well you'd better wear your steel plated armor if you plan on going in there.  Talk about cliques!

You've got to understand that the written word just doesn't come across the same way a voice would, with inflections and facial expressions.  I'm a fairly caring person... in person.  I also LOVE a good laugh.  

I type pointedly, if you perceive that as arrogance, so be it.  I feel fat(look at my pictures), messy, and I don't shave my legs unless I have a date, because I'm doing my studies online.  (I do have wonderfully pedicured toenails!!)

I'm rather literal minded but that's me.  I'm honest and loyal to a fault.  Lie to me once, I'll burn the bridge for life.  Talk Crud about a friend of mine and suffer the wrath of E.

Bottom line, people here do care and will look out for your best interest and there's no way in the world we're dysfunctional as some would have the new and uninformed believe.  I believe we're running like a well oiled machine.

Now I need to go and live my life, so you all have a safe and fun and happy Father's day and all of that.  

I'm turning my computer off for a couple of days.
