I would like to hear back from the ladies (PM works or email if you're 'shy' : [email protected]) who have experience with this; and the guys in dealing with this:

What do you find are the Pros and Cons of a Provider who is under the radar? No website, reviews stay frozen in time (no new ones posted)?

Obviously, there are a number of ladies who don't even have their TER profiles up; and some who do, but no websites or current reviews.

What are your thoughts? Ladies who used to have everything up, and now have everything down, how has this impacted your business, better or worse?

Went to a meeting yesterday, and by the time we reviewed the upcoming first and second quarter plans, I realized that I'm going to be gone so much next year, am already limited in my availability, and soon even more so, that I contemplated whether it even made sense anymore to have it up?

Thanks.

Well Sedona to tell you the truth, and this is my personal opinion only, whenever I find a lady that does not have a website, but does have good reviews and a profile, I would probably take a chance and call her up.  However, if the lady is new to this site and doesn't have a lot of reviews, althought she has a web site, then I would probably take a gamble and see what happens. Like you said, not all the ladies show up on TER and then everyone had to start with a few reviews anyway... so at first it might be tough on the ladies, but if guys take a chance and the lady turns out to be a good provider, then reviews will pile up, and word of mouth would do the rest. Well probably a guy posting a comment about this lady in the bulletin board could be helpfull to get her out there.  But I believe its important for ladies to have a website and a current picture, which are not hard to make anyway.  If the lady was out of business for a while, and had to turn all down, she might post something on the bulletin board so guys know she's back.... for the new ladies out there, it might help to offer some kind of promotion to get themselves out there and accumulate good reviews. I hope I helped on this one.

It depends.  Frozen reviews don't bother me, so long as there is a strong historical track record.  I still like to see a photo for someone I have never met, so that might be a problem for me.  Doesn't have to be a full-blown website -- just a page with a photo or two would do.

Dear Sedona,

Via TER, you occupy a large "footprint" on the local internet escort scene.  Even taking down your webpage and reviews won't alter the fact that LE knows you exist.

If you're just going to be busy with your other business activities, you could post a note to that effect on your page.

A related effect might be that LE decides to concentrate on more active providers since your odds of seeing an undercover officer probably go down a lot when you see, for instance, two people a week and they're both regulars....

Whatever you decide, "Let the fear of danger be a spur to prevent it; he that fears not, gives great advantage to the enemy."  Francis Quarles (1592 - 1644)
