Upside and sideways

Is it just me or do others find the upside down (and some sideways) photos kind of disorienting?  I'm okay with one here and there in a gallery, but I tend not to spend as much time on those photos as one others.  I prefer a more natural pose.

One woman here looks beautiful but most of the photos are sideways with her head hanging down and to the side.  My eye and brain keep trying to mentally shift the lady to a more natural pose.

Are "professional" photographers recommending these poses as some kind of artistic way to go?

Sorry, not trying to be unappreciative.  Maybe I have simple tastes -- a natural pose, a sun dress (with maybe one extra button undone for a more risque look) , a pretty smile . . . that seems to get the message across very effectively.

The answer is yes! Professionals are in an upside down trend now. One reason is it tends to feature the face and hides the body (more out of focus) Also upside down or on your back flattens the belly! All good tricks to hide the less flattering aspects. If these things are important to you in a pic simply check the height weight stat to confirm build. Unfortunately because setting up a session takes time and work, many just copy a style of a nice pic someone else did. I am with you, the ones that pop will be different and only one or two upside downs may be in a gallery!

Yes I love to take pics of Beautiful Ladies!

...I am not a fan of the upside-down photo trend.
