They will ask if you have the license. If not, they will bust you for operating without it. If they've found that you DO have a license (and in order to have a license you must register your pro name and phone numbers, so they know when they call if you have it or not)then they will nail you as soon as you get closer than 6 feet from them. They will get you either way if they want to, having a license and trying to play by the rules here makes no difference.

You don't need a license unless you are planing to work for an agency. All you need is the internet and a cell phone. The agency's in SD Suck!!!

I've looked them over myself and decided that even though I'm an educated and intelligent guy, I wouldn't mess with this stuff without a lawyer.  Maybe one of the other providers can steer you to a good one.

If you do any of the things that your customers would want you to do, you will be in violation of the terms of your license, and it will not provide you with any legal protections in any case, because you will be breaching the regulations.  

And, it will put you on a list for which LE will have an indication that they might perhaps want to harrass you.

It's of no value.

Well......of all the replies so far, the only one of value was nikeratos.

The others, with the attitude "don't get it" are wrong. If you get a call from SD LE and you DON'T have an adult entertainment license, etc.; they can bust you for that-even if you don't do anything.

Does it make you a little more visible, yep. But if you advertise on the net, or you've been mentioned on ANY board, they'll go after you eventually.

How about if only the providers answer this question?

I think she has a valid question that is not considered by most of the men on this board.  

I would agree that an experienced lawyer is the correct person to ask this of, so can anyone refer her to one in the SD area?

It always helps to find one before you need them anyways, right?
