I, for one, don't see it as a good thing.

People who post photos are shown in order of when they post and so it becomes a mish-mash of photos from all over the world. Anything posted a few days ago gets lost. I guess this would be good for someone who just wanted to look at random pictures. but not someone who wanted to see the women in his area.

Plus ruling out Theme Days seems to undermine the purpose of this website. Theme days were a way for ladies *in our location* to provide some eye candy and generate interest.

I don't know if this is the beginning of a future move to prevent posting of any pictures at all in the regional boards, which would be a terrible idea.  

But then, I didn't see the purpose of separating the ads and the discussion in the first place.

It sounds like a very orderly mind is thinking, only ads go in one place, general conversation goes in another place and pictures go in a third place, because it's neat, so there! But it creates navigation through compartments that slow down interaction, I see no positive outcome of these decisions.

I can't even see that there is a financial incentive behind this categorizing. Does TER stand to make more revenue? I don't see how. I think that this inhibits participation in the boards by taking some of the fun out and it and making it more tedious to use.  

It seems to me that conversation in general has declined significantly since the ad boards and discussion boards were separated. This can't be good for TER long term.

Hobbyists are the kind of people who like lots of open and free interaction, not restricting rules!
