Screening is getting out of control

Check out the ad for Precious Didi.  Now it is going
to cost me 50 for a credit check?  Why don't you
just ask for a family geneology while you are at it?
This is getting ridiculous.  It seems to me that an important
part of this business used to be ANONYMITY.  What has gotten
you providers so paranoid in San Diego?  How many of you have
actually gotten busted here?

Well, maybe use of the Discrete Screening service isn't such a bad thing - just so you don't have to ask one of your other providers to give you a reference.

BUT - then she goes and asks for all the same information and more.  What's the point of that!

might be a bit excessive (IMO).  That is almost a 20% fee increase for a potentially one-time transaction.  Can't see a lot of guys going for that...and even less for the "official" paper trail.

However, as for SD providers being paranoid, dude, check out the thread a couple down about a guy being busted.  I myself know three providers who have been busted, and several others who were "targeted".  SD LE is for real, and I strongly support the women's screening because of it.  Albeit, some men are in a sensitive position and won't be able to submit to it, but that is one of the realities of this biz, IMO...especially in SD.

Lots of providers have been busted, both here and in LA so I understand the paranoia.  My main concern about providing this info is that it would be on a computer somewhere (remember the "rolodex madam" a few years back?).  Another scary scenario: what if LE put up a site like this to gather data on prospective customers? I'm sure this is illegal, but you never know with these guys...
