After considering the suggestions I realize that an open forum would not be the palce for them. Also this thread is most definately controversial and It has probably made Jbirds job alot more difficult and he is a volunteer after all...hardly seems fair. Mostly they were the same things you guys have been saying plus a few extras that you probably don't think about but  do in the long run affect all of us and the ease with which we can get together.

I never did get the part about who died and put any one provider in the position of thinking it's ok to issue directions to the rest of us.  Another very vocal provider posted recently on the General discussion board, basically ordering other providers to give a reference if asked.  I think the words she used were "JUST DO IT."  Who died in this case, and put this one on charge of issuing orders??

on the subject but if you want to express yours, at least have the stones to use your real handle rather than hide behind an alias. What are you afraid of?

going to get busted from posting on this board or any other.  LE accesses boards like this and targets providers from their posts, like these are the potential troublemakers.  Why don't you post under your real name, maybe even add your DL no, address and home phone number.  I would much rather see you get busted instead of me.  
PS I do know a good criminal defense laywer, just in case you need one.

Actually Whatsthedeal...I believe I know who you are...and my intent on suggestions had absolutely nothing to do with telling any provider what to do. In fact most of what i was going to present was alternative methods of screening that simply give both sides more options and the observations I have made over the years as to what can be done to make ourselves safer, happier while maintaining our individuality and maximizing our client base.
Also I was going to offer some new information about research techniques that can easily expose your involvement in this business to others if you are not aware of them. Research and crossreferencing information is something I do alot in my other field...there is alot of new stuff that we should all know about.

If you choose not to give references then that is your right. You can do things anyway you like... DELIGHT in your methods if you wish I for one have found that in any business or search for knowledge it is best to keep ones ears open to all the information that is provided to you in order to have the best possible understanding. Those who feel they already know best are often those who suffer the worst and have little support when they do.

I suspect, maybe wrong,(she outed herself) This is C, who used to go by TP (prior postings of threat to out her clients)who works with C (the well reviewed) in PL. Too mean spirited to use her own handle and from what I have read a definate no-no. Just a Thought.
