For a few reasons I want a hot tub room for an outcall but the idea of the Tubs gives me the shivers. At the same time I'm not Rockafella - is there anywhere with a reasonable rate that still leaves some cash left over for someone to come wash my back?

There is a place in Old Town that has decent rooma with a hot tub. Can't remember the name right off the bat, but I hope this helped some.

Not sure your definition of expensive ... these are $100.

Almost all Courtyard by Marriott properties have in-room jacuzzi tubs, at a price in the $130 range.

I've visited "The Tubs" and understand your concern, however for a few bucks you can purchase a hot tub "Shock" pack which will sanitize the water/filters and be ready for use in 10-minutes.  Actually, it is a good idea to do this before climbing into any public spa, including whirlpool bathtubs in hotels.
