Could someone explain how to add a picture [jpeg] to a posting?  I did the cut and paste, and it didn't work!

Thank you.

Cut & paste doesn't work off your computer, the image has to be from a website that all can access. You need to either (1) "lift" the pic from the original website, or (2) deposit the pic at another website so it can be accessed by all. There are several websites that do this. I don't recall any right now. You will have to hunt around or maybe someone will post it for you.

If you simply want to lift a "pic" from its original website, then right click on the pic itself and scroll down to "properties" (assuming you are using Windows). Left click on "properties" and then highlight & copy the "address" which usually ends in "jpeg". Then you can click and paste the "address" to the post itself, like the one below that says "picture URL",....BTW, Happy Friday, People!!

You don't even have to ask a question, all you have to do is just ask!

but you did it in the text area of the message.

If you look closely, there are three other areas to the post
directly below the text box for your message.

The third box below the text box is titled "Picture URL".
You need to paste you picture link into that box.  Also, you
will notice that the box already has the text "http://" typed
into it.  You will need to make sure you don't have this text
repeated twice or the link won't work.

you are almost there!
