Detailed guidelines for posting provider ads on TER are listed below. TER staff or the moderators may, at their discretion and judgment, remove any ads that in their opinion do not follow these guidelines.
WHO MAY POST ADS?
- Provider ADs cannot be posted by anyone other than themselves, their booker, or another provider.
- Ladies, do not ask guys to post ads for you—it only gets them moderated.
- Ads and promos for providers who have been delisted or banned from TER will be removed.
HOW OFTEN MAY ADS BE POSTED?
- Providers may post one ad thread per 7 day period. For example, if you post an ad on Saturday, on the following Saturday you may post a new ad.
- The "one ad per 7 days" rule means you can post one ad per week on one board here at TER. You cannot post one ad to two or more boards in the same week.
- The only exception to the above rules is - when touring, providers may also post one ad per week on the board for the city they will be visiting to announce their visit. The dates of the visit should be included in the subject line of the ad.
- Escort agencies may post one ad thread per 7-day period per region they serve. For updates or for posting information about multiple providers that work for the agency, please post to the agency's current ad thread.
- Posts regarding contact info, availability, schedule changes, new website announcements, or new pics all count as ad posts. Updates may be added as posts to the original thread during the 7-day period.
- Help us keep it fair for all by reporting violations of the ad post limits to the local moderator of the board on which it appears.
WHERE CAN ADS BE POSTED?
- Ad posts should be posted on the regional board that is closest to the area serviced.
- Ad posts are not allowed on any national boards (General Discussion, FAQ for Newbies, Politics, or ISO), with the exception of the Porn Stars and Transsexual boards.
- Porn Stars may advertise on the Porn Star (PS) board, and transexuals are encouraged to advertise on the Transexual (TS) board.
- Providers may reply to ISO posts (In Search Of) on any board, provided that their reply post includes a valid link (see Guidelines for Ad Postings below).
GUIDELINES FOR AD POSTINGS:
- Provider ad posts (and ISO replies) must include a link to either your personal website, your TER review profile, or directly to your ad on an escort mall. This means that EVERY ad post, in order to be posted, MUST list one of the above three types of links in the "Link URL" field when creating the post. If the "Link URL" field is left blank, the ad post will not be approved.
- If you include a link to your personal site in your ad post, your personal site must follow the PERSONAL SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR AD POSTING below for your ad post to be posted.
- Concerning agency ad posts - Whether the post is for an individual provider who works at the agency or for the agency as a whole, the post must include a valid working link to the agency's website. If the link included in the agency ad post is to an individual provider's page on the agency's site, that page should contain the REVIEWED AT TER emblem / link or a TER Banner, as discussed below.
- Your contact information must be on the web page that you link to.
- Please do not type ads in ALL CAPS.
- You may not link to a provider ad that is hosted on another escort review site.
PERSONAL SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR AD POSTING:
- When linking to your own site in your ad posts, your site must have either the REVIEWED AT TER emblem / link or a TER banner.
The emblem or banner MUST link back to TER when clicked on.
The emblem or banner should be located on either the first page of your site or the "main" page of your site.
The emblem or banner should be easily located when someone is looking at your page. Do not hide it or list it far down on the page.
The emblem or banner needs to be full size and unaltered.
- To receive the REVIEWED AT TER emblem / link please submit your site in our Site Reviews. During the application process for Site Reviews, the code needed for the REVIEWED AT TER emblem / link will be emailed to you. Click HERE --> http://www.theeroticreview.com/info_policies/siteListingHelp.asp for information on how to submit your site to be listed in our Site reviews.

By participating in the discussions on TER discussion boards, you can greatly increase your visibility and give potential clients the opportunity to get to know you better. You may include your link in messages you contribute to any TER discussion board, that does not count toward your ad limit. In fact, you are encouraged to include your link, because it helps everyone get to know you better. Putting photo's into non ad related replies to threads is not allowed, unless the thread you are replying to is about posting photo's of yourself and other provider's. Just please make those linked messages meaningful, entertaining, or helpful contributions.

Per TER posting guidelines, reviews of any type are not allowed on discussion boards, because their proper place is in the review database. However, the use of mini-reviews is warranted by the need and desire of hobbyists to share review information on visiting providers whose local availability may have ended by the time a formal review is submitted and approved. Based on those conditions, mini-reviews are allowed on the discussion board, provided they meet the guidelines below.
1. Mini-Reviews may not be posted on local providers, regardless of whether they have TER reviews or not. Local providers will still be here next week, so no sense of urgency exists on sharing review information.
2. Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 3 or fewer TER Reviews. If a provider already has 4 or more TER Reviews, a Mini-Review is not needed -- look up the existing TER Reviews in the database.
3. Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 4 or more TER Reviews if none of the TER Reviews were posted within the past 3 months.
4. Mini-Reviews may only be posted by established TER members with 5 or more existing TER Reviews.
5. Mini-Reviews must be followed up by a formal TER Review posting within 72 hours.
6. Mini-Reviews may only be posted using your TER reviewer username - aliases may not be used.
7. Only one Mini-Review thread per visiting lady is allowed. Additional Mini-Reviews by other members may be added to the original Mini-Review post.
8. The Subject line of a Mini-Review post should be structured as follows:
Mini - [ProviderName of AgencyName/CityOfOrigin]
examples:
Mini - Wicked Witch of TinMan Companions
Mini - Dorothy of Oz
9. The Message body of the Mini-Review post may only include the following info:
Recommended: yes/no/ymmv
Rating: may range from 1/1 to 10/10 (appearance/performance)
GFE: yes/no/ymmv, or may use the GFE+++ scale
Services: list acronyms/terms of offered services only
Rates: rate/time of your encounter
Incall: yes/no - if yes, list general geographical area
Outcall: yes/no/unknown
Photos: accurate/glamour/old/B&S
- A link to the provider's current web site or escort mall ad must be included in 'link URL' box.
- Providing a photo link in the 'picture URL' box is acceptable.
- Additional text is acceptable but it may not have as many details as a formal review.
Mini-Reviews not meeting the format requirements will be removed or modified.
Mini-Reviews must be followed by submission of a full, formal TER review to the TER review database.
