Called Operation Red Light, I guess 34 arrested.

SAN DIEGO – San Diego police arrested 34 men and women for suspicion of prostitution and related offenses like pimping, pandering and solicitation during a sting dubbed “Operation Red Light,” a vice operations lieutenant said.

The operation took place over two days, in which detectives focused on prostitutes and their clientele operating both on the streets and via the Internet, San Diego police Lt. XXXXX said.

The San Diego Police Department is committed to reducing the effect of prostitution and related crimes on communities, he said.

I agree with Madam Patricia, but San Diego has way bigger issues that require officers attention other than this.

boggles my mind. Aren't there bigger issues to deal with. Like say everyone being robbed blind by the finance industry.

Being on TER I look at this biz from the way we do it. Hell. Even though the asian ladies are hot and cheap I have issues with them......

Definitely. Once about 10 years ago I answered an ad and went to a hotel to see the woman.
She was sitting in a limo outside the hotel and was not the picture in the ad. Although she said
she was 21 she looked like she was 13 from Tijuana. I just told her she was too young and left.
I would have loved to have waited for some pimp to come around and beat his ass but I was
too freaked out by the whole thing to stay. I don't mind the cops busting those bastards at all.

If I get the slightest inkling a supposedly "independent" provider has a pimp/"manager" and is not working for herself I am off her immediately. She goes straight to my ignore list.

I have some opinions about such stings. Yes, it's good to take the pimps and thugs down and get these girls back home. If your either a provider or hobbist, then going through this site can provide some measure of protection. Everyone knows everyone more or less. Law enforcement should concentrate their efforts on the streets. Good luck trying to enforce on the Internet.

To be honest as a computer engineer I would say it would be easy for them to do it especially if they bent or amended some of their own laws.
