Wow!  Those were my thoughts on this too.  Plus, I hear my single buddies ranting all the time about how much they spend on a date, hoping to get laid, and get no more than a peck on the cheek and blue balls.  For less time and drama, and the same money, they could have enjoyed the pleasures of a provider.  I have turned a few of them onto hobbying and they are much happier for it!

I know because I WAS ARRESTED in a sting yesterday! They will use any means possible to get a bust of it, from trying to make you take the money from their hand to flat out denying that they are cops. They have fake IDs too, so screening is getting to be more and more difficult. They are being more sneaky, more conniving. They will lie to your face, then turn around and arrest you, and then will want you to narc on others in order to save your own skin all the while telling you that they will go easy on you. Don't believe them. Don't say anything, tell them you want a lawyer. DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM HOTELS OF ANY KIND!!! They are also watching a few other very popular websites and have their own too, pretending to be escorts.

The cops should go fight real crime, like finding who killed my brother-in-law.

Bastards.

Plus They have a LIST of Providers they are trying to bust!!!!!

is to take sensible precautions and hope the odds don't run out on us.  No form of screening, by provider or client, is 100% fail-safe, but it can put the odds in your favor instead of against you.  In this life that's the best we can get.

why it is okay to ask a woman out on a date, take her out to dinner and drinks, go dancing, then end up at your place where she takes off her clothes so the two of you can end up having wild sex all night long (dinner $100, drinks $30, cover charge for dancing and drinks $50, dessert $20) and it is ILLEGAL to by pass the dinner, drinks and dancing so you can go straight for the sex? ($200+)

Go bust someone doing a real crime!!!!  If I want to give a woman money directly rather than buy her dinner and get her drunk just to blow me, that should be my business and not a cop issue!!

Get over it!!!

I mean SW's..public nuisance and embarrassment..yeah, but privacy between two consenting adults - what's the big deal?
Shoot..look at these stupid TV dating shows..Oh, how 'bout this?
A previous boss of mine (lady) paid $2600 to one of these Singles Dating places to find her a mate - at LEAST a suitable boyfriend. $2600! They guaranteed a suitor within 18 months. She never did find anyone (God! Who'd want to be with HER?!), had dozens of flop dates, and more heartache and anguish than when she began..

We at least provide many happy things and it's pretty win-win, and there's so much that is helpful and positive about it. Go figure..

Economics, buddy.
Gotta keep the restaurants and night clubs in business.

I agree.  Technically it's doing the same thing.  In fact its better to skip the whole dinner/movie/dancing part.  in the end the woman just ends up being led on, and heartbroken (now we cant have that).  It's better to just pay up front.  Technically you have the same chances of getting an STD (50/50).  At least the escort is charging.

Cops are NOT obligated to tell the truth.

You are stating the very things that we have discussed here and that myself and others have posted about. This is why the ladies have their screening tactics in place and have ways of getting around the ways they get around. It's a good ol' cat an' mouse game..

As far as attorneys go, those in The Game should have one already. Jails are filled with those represented by Public Pretenders ..er Defenders. No disrespect towards them - they are just too busy to handle the case loads, and it's much more preferred you have your own attorneys on retainer.

Best wishes.

Also, with the new fiscal year budgets, there will be ~10% decrease in the Public Defenders budget, with a commensurate increase in that of the DA. There was a Letter to the Editor in today's San Diego Union Tribune discussing this.

Clearly, the deck is stacked against you if you use the undergunned PD Office.
