@Samahdi,
To quote you Sir:
"Rude, inconsiderate, and deceptive behaviors are quite unnecessary in our world.
I regret reporting that Mickey Monroe apparently thinks otherwise.
All it takes is consideration of the other person's time with a call or text indicating a
change of mind, a time conflict, or an adjustment.
Without that consideration, both providers and clients should be avoided."
@Samahdi,
I'm sorry this happened to you, and I'm in agreement with you 100%.
Tuesday no-show/cancellations must have been contagious, because I too had almost
a similar scenario occur on that day.
After a solid week of back-n-forth emailing, to verify references, and
establish a date, this Gent and I scheduled for Tuesday, 1pm.
My protocol is to confirm the night prior, then 2-3 hours prior, as a final confirm.
I did both, and all systems were a "go".
One hour prior I get a "oh sorry I can't make it".
{at least he did cancel instead of the per-usual "nsnc" "no-show, no-call" as some do}
I understand "ish happens".
Missed time is money, in more ways than one, in my personal case.
It's not just a huge block of time set aside for the meeting, however, it is the prep-time prior, and
having to pass on the desire of regular visitors, who want to see me. It's a double whammy!
This tends to occur at least once monthly or more possibly to us all, unfortunately.
