Should I post a review?sad_smile

I set up an appointment with a often reviewed provider yesterday. We talked about several things on the phone(past conversations & a previous appointment she cancelled due to dentist emergency.) She said she was anxious to show me a good time and we set up a 6:30pm appointment (that would give her time after her 2 afternoon appointments to run some errands.) She gave me directions and her direct number in case I had a problem. It took me 11/2 hours to drive to her location and when I went to her door, she was not dressed how I would expect to be greeted by a provider & looked bewildered that I was there. She also did not look like her picture or her description in the reviews. To be honest, she looked like a drugged out crack head. She said there must have been a mis-understanding and that she had a friend over at the time. I did not feel like arguing with her on her front porch as her neighbors were already staring but I left mildly upset.

If it would have been an outcall & the tables would have been turned, I would be expected to pay a cancellation fee. Now I know she would not have paid me for my lost time, but do you believe I should give a negative review? I do not think she is a rip-off but I will NEVER try again with her. My question is ... Since nothing actually happened, should I post a review on this provider?

Since I was only a couple of exits away from TJ, I went down to the Chicago Club and took care of business...& saved $100 in the process.

To follow on the tails of a post I made to another board, your review should be an account of your experieince, not necessarily just of the provider. If we accept that line of thinking, you should feel comfortable providing a review of your experience.

It would be especially helpful if you made sure to mention the other facts as well, such as the cancelled appointment. I don't know how you would rate it, since I'm not sure I would call that a rip-off. Maybe "should have stayed home?"

Let your conscience be your guide.

By all means, post the review.  Make certain that she is the one you made the appointment.  You say she did not look the picture in the ad, so make certain.  If she has pulled this with other's, I'm sure they will respond.

For all you know, this has happened before, and/or prior reviews may be bogus.
