Wondering what you all think of guys that hold a TER review over a girl to get a better performance out of her at the time of the date?

Don't know if it will help, however, I don't think Staff will take too kindly to guys trying to blackmail providers.

Email [email protected] with all information/details and see what happens.

Any guy that has to resort to those tactics isn't worth your time.  I can understand general inquiries from what was reviewed, but expecting that as a benchmark isn't right.
Just my opinion...

Sounds like a great idea.  I'm gonna try it.

It is despicable that any hobbyist would behave that way.  I would hope that most TER members would feel the same way.  Somehow I doubt that the guy will post a review.

I hope you are not faced with this situation again.

On the surface, the act is inappropriate, and the hobbiest should be ashamed.  Hypothetically, however, if, by chance, previous reviews indicate a particular type of service is offered by a provider, which may be the reason this hobbiest contacted this particular provider, and that service is not offered on this visit, is it appropriate then for the hobbiest to say "well, your previous reviews indicate you perform this kind of service, why not for me?".  Is this inappropriate?  Tough question, but, in a case such as the hypothetical scenario described, may be appropriate, I think.

One word comes to mind: deplorable.

Doesn't sound like a gentleman but rather a person willing to take the cheap route to an end.

Just my $.02.

is TER the Better Business Bureau of the lifestyle?...

in a recent review i read... a guy actually wrote about how he wasnt getting as much 'action' as he wanted and so threatened the girl with a bad review... it worked to his advantage and he got his way...
""Then I dropped the keywords...The Erotic Review, and she sprang to life:) I told her I wouldn't lie, but I would just be honest and tell them what happened and that it could be bad for her business.""

Extortion?...or good business?

if she is dependant on TER for her business... his threat would be just as bad as him threatening to expose her or  'alert le' if she didnt do what he wanted... i'm certain the two would have the same effect...

dont forget that we girls are still girls... and chemistry does have something to do with the direction a 'meeting' goes...

ok.... another scenario... same story... different setting..

guy walks into an autoshop... he isnt happy with the work done on his car... he 'threatens' the shop owner with a call to the BBB... now... at this point... does the shop owner bend and kiss his booty.... or does he tell him to get the $#^@& out of his shop?

i would think the latter...

well anyways.... i think that its wrong to threaten with TER reviews.

ideally part of TER's job is to convince lousy providers to improve their service. However IMO it does not mean that it should be used to get more out of a girl than she is willing to give. Say for instance she does only CBJ and the guy threatens her with a bad review if she does not do BBBJ. That is disgusting.

Could you put a link to the review, I'd like to see it.

Or how about a guy calling a provider for the first time, discussing services and the fee involved then, saying he wants a discount from her normal rate or else he will write a poor review. All this without ever seeing the guy. I know this to be true as the provider called me for advise on what to do.

I think its good to let the provider know you read her TER reviews so that she knows what you may be expecting.  I have had girls tell me up front that the amount has increased since the postings or that the review saying they did something specific wasn't exactly true.  The BBB, like TER, is there so that you can research before you buy.  It's not there so that you can leverage an extra 10% off.  I also agree that chemistry must be there and girls have off days (like all humans do).

I think that if you did kick a guy out and then you send a message to Staff explaining what happened, he would probably take that into consideration when deciding whether or not the review warrants posting.

That's a terrible incident!

However, we hear all the time of hobbyists being scammed. There are probably more hobbyists being rip off than providers (but I don't know that?)

I guess the law the averages just caught up with you.

For those of you that sent me such sweet PMs and for the E-Mails from those of you that know me offering various solutions!!

*GRIN*

I'd hope that my screening and gifting policies regarding dates help me avoid this situation entirely! (That and my competitive need to please.)

I heard it through the grapevine that this recently happened to a younger, newer provider that I don't have any sort of contact with. I've heard of this before, as well. So, I just wondered what "the community" thought.  THANKS AGAIN

I neither agree with what the guy said nor disagree.  I do like the car example though, it's very fitting.  If you are promised a service and pay the amount prior to, would you not be upset if they don't give what is promised?

Regardless, he probably shouldn't have said what he did.  But the provider needs to be more honest and upfront if unwilling to fulfill promises.  Just my 2 cents anyway.

perfect example of why I do not have a blanket policy on certain services. If there aren't expectations above and beyond what I am comfortable providing in less than ideal circumstances then the chances of dissapointing a client are less. I have heard countless moans and groans about the "quality" of service a girl provides being consistent and quite frankly it really chaps my ass sometimes. It is the reason why I ask each new customer that if they review me to please not include details above and beyond the information on my profile. Yes If they did I could get higher ratings and probably more business but then I might end up feeling pressured to provide the same service to the guy with the bad oral hygiene and questionable issues in other areas as I did to the guy who had no such issues. Hell I might even have a day that I accidentally bit my tongue or cheek, or god forbid cut my self while shaving.

It seems that the fellas think its ok and the ladies don't. I think that it is wrong to extort services from someone but lets not forget the the saying the customer is always right. If the request is not out of the ordinary. Why would the client need to threaten the provider? Why wouldn't the provider try and make the experence a good one? We are only talking about an hour or twoo, how tough can it be?
