I am thinking about going downtiwn on Halloween and attending the San Diego Monster Bash. Has anyone ever gone to this event? If so, how was it?

Haven't been but used to go to the old MCRD party and it was off the hook. Now that the theme is dress as a slutty whatever  im sure it rock

It's pretty fun.  I haven't looked into the details for it this year, but I remember thinking it really wasn't worth it.  We ended up having more fun in the regular bars with everyone in costumes.  

If you've never been, I'd say check it out.  Tons of eye candy.  However, it's definitely not something I'll be repeating year after year.
