Hey everyone, so this is my third time trying to post this thread, but TER keeps telling me I'm not allowed to. Here's the basic situation: I am traveling to San Diego in March and have been communicating with a provider, but there are some red flags / gut feelings that make me wonder if she's legit. She has no reviews on TER, and is apparently a delisted/banned provider, but I don't know for sure -- she could also be new to the scene.
Hence, I thought I'd post here, but my previous two posts on this question got taken down. I'm trying this time to carefully avoid mentioning anything about the provider, in the spirit of just a long-time TER community member (and occasional reviewer) seeking the advice of the community (both providers and clients) in trying to suss out a potential unsafe situation.
Here's the basic info so far:
- I am about to travel to San Diego in March, and was looking for someone to meet while I'm there. I saw an appealing profile on P411, and the person listed a TER review but the review had been taken down and I got a page that said basically the provider herself was no longer listed on TER.
- No big deal, I thought, provider could have changed names and profiles for understandable reasons, I'd take one for the team, maybe try meeting her under her new alias.
- However, I couldn't find anything about her anywhere else, not on any other board, not on TER, nowhere.
- She has a very nice looking website, but strangely the website doesn't mention anything about outcalls/incalls, etc.
- So I called the number she has on her site, and actually ended up talking with her. She seems really nice, we agreed to talk again over video chat in a week or so, and that way I'd get to see what she really looks like.
- But my nagging worry is whether I'll end up being taken for a ride anyway, if she's not legit or a ripoff in other ways.
- So I tried posting here to ask if anyone knew her. My first post was flagged as an ad, because I linked to her P411 profile. My second post was flagged as referring to someone who was "delisted/banned from TER".
So... I have no idea if *this* post will go through. I guess my question is basically asking if someone would reach out to me offline to give me some local knowledge about this person. I want to respect TER's policies and the safety/discretion of all involved, but I also feel like as a long-time TER member myself this is one of those valuable aspects of this community: how we can all help each other, both providers and clients, avoid getting into unsafe situations.
So, if you're a TER admin reading this and you decide to disallow this post, could you please reach out to me separately and give me some advice on how to proceed?
At this point there are enough red flags and gut feelings that make me want to avoid this provider anyway, so if this post gets flagged I might just decide that's enough of a sign from the universe to find someone else

Thanks!
