All right this will be my last statement on this subject.  I'm still a little steamed about this.  If she was paranoid, why lead people on?  Why confirm their appointments?  She asked for my references and I assume checked me out through them. She wasted a lot of my time and apparently a lot of other people's time. I really think she should apologize to everyone she did this to. I'm suprised she has not. The fact that she has ignored this indicates to me that she does not care.

Her reviews are great and I am sure that many people here got to enjoy her company.  However, after emailing for over a month, and confirming my appointment one day in advance, I got the run around.  Victoria confirmed my appointment and even gave me her room number.  Unfortunately, she accidently (?) forgot to give me her hotel info?  Despite my attempts to email her for the info (she never gave me a phone number to call), she never responded.  She did however leave me a voice message on my work phone (on Sunday?), once again giving me the room number but no hotel info.  She did have my cell phone number but never tried that.  Sorry she may be great, but I feel that she treated me rather cruely, i.e., why didn't she try the cell or email back.  I don't know about other hobbyist, but I really look forward to my appointments (especially with Victoria) and really am disappointed when I feel like I've been given the shaft.

It is unfortunate that the two of you were unable to get together. If you had met her, I am confident that you would have found that VNH is a wonderful, caring person.  Having had the pleasure of her company, I can definitely say that she is among the best providers I have known and her reviews are well deserved. In her home town of Seattle she has many loyal admirers. However, this was her first visit to San Diego and with the current local state of affairs (see tellmewhoiswho's thread below), it is very understandable for a lady to be extremely careful and to be inclined to follow her instincts. I realize that can be disappointing to individuals like yourself. However, considering what these ladies have at stake, I hope you can find it in your heart to be forgiving.

I'd be a little more forgiving if she would have a least responded and acknowledged the problem- but I've heard nothing from her.

Geez. Whenever a woman (especially a beautiful one) stands someone up, there's always some guy who's willing to make excuses for her. Give me a freakin' break. With no explanation, it's just bad form. Period.

had a similar situation with Victoria, meeting for Friday, knew the hotel, but not the room...never got a call after she arrived...if she arrived.

I wonder if VVH didn't overbook in an attempt to counter any cancellations? It sure sounds like it if two clients had the exact same experience. And it was her first visit to SD.... MfSD.

I had an almost exact experience as yours. She called my cell phone only leaving a room number, no hotel nor her phone number.
I went as far as driving to San Diego from OC, hoping she would call as the appointment time approached. She never did, after wasting 2 1/2 hours on the road and a dark parking lot, I got an email from her back in home, asking if I had receiced her message for the room number, I emailed back my explainations as why I was not there, and saying I was interested in giving it another try, never heard back from her, no explaination and no apology! Where is the basic business etiquette, someone needs to train these business women how to return phones and emails, this industry just like any other industries will have it's peeks and valleys, a smart business person never want to offend any potential clients during good or bad times! In a business world, these businesses do not treat their clients well always close their doors in no time!

Since this provider is a highly rated provider in another market, maybe the moderator in that community can reach out and find out if it was really her who made the trek down here.

How hard, given the capabilities of the web, for LE (or anyone for that matter) to fake a visit, get a bunch of hobbyists details and play this game on us. The room numbers for some and hotel for others, has me suspicious. Unless she is a total ditz, which I doubt given the reported reputation of the provider this smells fishy....or really goosey.

She almost ditched me as well, but I managed to bump into her in the hallway and take it from there.... but not for the time I had expected.

She was nice enough, but really paranoid - she seemed really spooked. She also did not seem to have a grasp on the time she needed to fulfill her appointments, and was vague about her plans.  She did say that she would return in a couple of months.

We had gone back and forth with emails.  She was very prompt and nice in her responses.  She told me that she would contact me when she arrived here in San Diego.  We set a date and time, but she never called me with the room number, etc.  Too bad because she seemed so cool.  Hopefully she didn't get too spooked so she will come back.

From what I could tell, she was not malicious at all, just very non-confrontational, which means that if there is a problem, she just prefers to hide from it and wait 'til it goes away.

I too was fuming, ande just as I was ready to leave, we bumped into one another. I expressed my frustration with her, but after a few minutes of cooling down, we decided to make a quicky of it.

I was also fuming mad about the choice of hotel. Some out of towners like these fancy dancy hotels, which is fine; but parking is always a bitch, as there never is any free guest parking.

I always try to encourage visiting girls to go to hotel circle or the hrabor area (easy parking and decent rooms)... those 5 star hotels in LaJolla are just a pain. I think these fancy hotels have nice lobbies, but the rooms are not that much better than a regular $75-$90 hotel.
